Amazing Machine for ACL and meniscus repair surgery
I recently had surgery to repair my ACL and Meniscus this machine has come in handy when it comes time to ice which is a lot. It is super easy to use, works extremely well, and was easy to set up. The ice retention is good

Received used item. Tube leaking
The media could not be loaded. Seems like I received a used item. Previous purchaser returned with dog hairs on the therapy pad. The pump had water in it straight out the box and the tube is leaking. Returning for a new one.

It does the job.
It was a bit of a task doing the strapping one handed, so if someone is available, be sure to get their assistance. If the pad had loops to run the straps through, it would simplify the "one person" process. I really wouldn't recommend for shoulder icing. It's just too small, odd shaped, and doesnt strap well around the shoulder area for a firm compress. Still it can work, just a daunting task to get it situated correctly to have any solid effect. For knees, legs, arms, etc, it would be great. Overall it works great and I have no regrets on the purchase. It is lightweight and easy to store away.

A life saver!
A life saver! This provides almost instant relief and is so simple and user friendly to use! Instead of using ice, I add two frozen bottles of water to the container and it works wonders!

Worth considering
Quiet and works as intended. Quality could be better, we found a very slow leak at a joint in the circulation tubes due to an imperfection in the cheap plastic joiner, but this easily fixed by simply taking it off, adding a dab of caulk and reinserting it. Much easier than returning it.The container for the ice water and immersion pump is flimsy and not really insulated and I could see that being a problem, but we put the whole setup into a small ice chest so that it stays cold for hours and can’t tip or leak. There’s no excuse for any of these products to be expensive or poor quality, it’s just a simple little pump, a cooling pad and a tube connecting them. This one does the job at a better price than most, and I didn’t see any better value. Definitely nicely quiet.

AWESOME
Very easy to use, straight forward picture directions, all you have to do is put ice and cold water in it and you’re good to go.Two things I do recommend though….1. Place a thin towel between your knee and the circulation pad. It gets very cold and can create condensation under the pad.2. I bought bags of ice to fill my machine. They were easier than using all your ice trays and quicker to put in. If you have an auto ice maker on your fridge I’m sure that would work also.

Love an ice machine but connections leak.
I found an ice machine essential for post total knee replacement recovery. I’ve used it for months. The temperature isn’t too cold so it can be used as analgesia. However I would choose a sturdier model and wish I would have gotten the better model. The connections leak, causing frequent wet area. Duck tape and towels at the connection sites work as a temporary solution. Buy a higher grade model if you need one.
