Nice thread holder
I like this rotating thread holder. I really like how many spools it can hold. I love that it comes preassembled (except for the pegs). I find the latch to work well and the rotation to spin easily. I love the storage inside, I think that is a fabulous idea. I like the wood look fairly well, it's unfinished wood but it is nice, and as a crafter, it's kind of nice to be able to finish it myself the way I want. There is a small problem in the design as one row of pegs blocks the door from properly opening. I just left those pegs off to fix the problem. Overall I really like it and do recommend it.

Very nicely constructed rotating thread rack with some caveats
My first impression of this rack was really good - It came fully assembled except for the pegs, and it is nicely finished with a sturdy Lazy Susan base, easy to operate latch and removable interior shelves.Adding the pegs was easy, but here is the one caveat for this rack: there is a row of peg holes on the hinge side of the door that you cannot use if you intend to open the door at any point, and two peg holes surrounding the closure latch that you probably don't want to use either as it would impede the use of the latch. I wish they had simply left those off, or else included a note about them, since it would be very easy to get excited, install all the pegs and then realize that you have to remove some. It does exclude 9 pegs total from use so in practice this will be a 75 thread holder.Since there is a lot of space inside the cabinet for extra thread spools, bobbins, etc. I think it's not a huge deal to lose those pegs, but if you're picky about things being symmetrical it could bug you a bit. My only other issue is that the pegs themselves are at a fairly straight angle so you'll need to be careful about aggressively spinning this when loaded. A slightly steeper angle would have helped hold them in place.Overall I do think this is a lovely storage rack that has a lot of nice features. It's not perfect, but it is still a good addition to a sewing space.

Spacious but dowels were hard to place
The box itself arrived already assembled but the dowels needed to be installed; this was a huge pain. A regular hammer splintered the dowel wood, shoving the dowels into the holes splintered the dowel wood...generally, it was a time consuming ordeal to get the dowels into the holes without damaging them. The holes are slightly smaller so most of them required hammering. A few were just snug enough to push in without fuss. It was hard for me, but now that it is done, it looks great with all my threads on it. Also rotates very smoothly. I did have to leave 2 dowels out where the door clasp is though; this is some iffy design as it would have been hard to open / close and latch the door if thread spools were there. In any case, I don't think I'd ever want to put something like this together again (and it was just the dowels that needed "putting together"- that is how much of a pain they were) but now that it's done, I will hopefully get to enjoy it for a long time. It feels pretty sturdy and well-made, although there is no way to access the spinner part from the base, so not sure how to tighten or reinforce or check it. The storage aspects are great though - holds ample thread spools and the interior holds a bunch of other stuff.

Perfect!
Great storage rack! Very easy to put together and well made. Doesn't tilt or wobble. I like it a lot!

Excellent!
Likes: smooth rotation, holds a ton of thread, has a latched compartment with removable shelves for putting pins or whatever inside. Took it to a quilting camp and everyone loved it!Dislikes: not ideal for transporting (but it can be done)Suggestions: The column of holes which is directly behind the door (when opened) is in the way of completely opening the door if you have thread on any of those pegs. I would recommend just having two columns on that side, or maybe redesign so bobbins could easily go there? When putting the pegs in the holes, I highly recommend a light tap with a small hammer or rubber mallet. Not all the pegs are easy to get in (which is ok since we want them secure) and you will stress your hands if you try to put them in securely with just your hands. Note: the product does come with quite a few extra pegs.

So handy
This thread holder is great. It holds 84 spools of thread/bobbins so I can put the colors I use most on it and have them right near me. One side opens and there is space to hold everything from needles, seam rippers, threaders, etc.

useful
This is a smooth wooden rotating thread wrack that holds approximately 80 spools of thread (depending on how you insert the rods-- see below).PROS:- This spins easily-- I was afraid it might be jerky or hard to turn, but it isn't at all.- It holds a lot of thread.- The inside storage is a nice use of space.- The wood is smooth, and my thread won't get picked up on it.CONS:- The dowels were a little stubborn to insert.- I was hoping the dowels could be easily removed and repositioned, but this is not the case. That's fine if all of your spools are the same size, but I have some in irregular sizes.- Inserting dowels in all the holes will cause problems with operating the rack (see below).Word of advice: don't put dowels in the holes immediately around the latch, because they'll be in the way of operating it! Also be careful that no latches impede opening the door all the way (pegs on the far side of the door that opens get in the way).I think I might have preferred plastic dowels, just to be extra-sure that my threads won't catch.

Mostly great product
I got this to hold spools of thread and it does that really well. It was mostly easy to assemble (had a problem with a few pegs) but for the cost I didn't mind. I like that it came unpainted as at some point in the future I will probably paint it to match the decor in my craft room. The one thing I don't like is while it does have a storage area within it, it's hard to actually access that if you have spools of thread on the door. But if you need something to hold thread or anything else, this is a great tool at a great price.
