Flareon Barbecue Briquettes
Excellent product, low smoke, stable heat, good longevity, but comes with a few caveats. Read ahead. If you have a chimney starter then it is easy to get these briquettes started. If you don't know or don't have a chimney starter, you can check on YouTube. Basically it is a cylindrical container with a perforated base and handle. You place the briquettes in the upper section and pack newspaper in the lower section and light up the news paper. The fire gets the briquettes burning and starts them and then you pour them into the barbecue. One issue I noticed was people mentioning that this was hard to get started and I agree. These briquettes are dense and it needs high heat to start them. My solution was to take 2 - 3 briquettes and break them up and then get them started in a ball of newspaper that was lit up. (I don't have a chimney starter, so I ball up newspaper with the broken down briquettes in the center and light it up). Once it does get started, you need to fan them to provide good air circulation till you get them really going and flaming a bit. This is the point, where you add more briquettes 2 - 3 at a time till you reach the optimal quantity. These briquettes last long, have low smoke and impart a nice smokey flavor to your barbecue and with a 5kilo bag, if you are using a medium sized grill like I am and use it once in a few weeks, expect them to last a few months. In comparison with regular charcoal that you might find at a coal depot, this is highly preferable for a few reasons.1) Low smoke and odor, which means you can use this in your balcony if you live in an apartment, without inviting the ire of your neighbors.2) Regular charcoal produces more soot and your food can be coated in the soot which will destroy the taste and frankly is unhygienic to heat. At the end of the day you want a delicious grilled item that is hygienically prepared and shouldn't compromise in this area.Highly recommend using this for your barbecue grill.

Quality is very good and lasts long
The coal is very good and lasts very long probably 2.5hrs. Yes it takes 20min to initial ignition. but then it goes on and on. Very less/no smoke. Good value for money.

Amazing coal
The media could not be loaded. Great bbq coal at a reasonable price .. takes long to start but once lit up , lasts really long

Strictly Average
Just average product, if you are to compare with Weber, this is disappointing...coal burns too quickly and heat produced is low...even if Weber is double the price that will serve the purpose and actually overall u may call Weber cheap as it comes for longer period and produces proper heat

Product not satisfactory
The product is not burning easily, so I donot know how to use it then. Please refund the amount and get the item back. Also I donot see refund option available against this product any reason for that, as I have taken only single piece out of it for checking but is not satisfactory. So please confirm if it can be returned back and if I can get the refund. Thanks.

TOTALLY SMOKELESS PRODUCT
Since the day I received this product, it is being used in my home almost daily. It is smokeless and the burning duration is almost 2-3 hours. Very good product.

Long lasting and value for money
Pros:1-long lasting(atleast 45 min on continous cooking)2-Good quantity on reasonable price as compared to Weber charcoal.cons:Takes a while to start(as case with every charcoal briquete) but once on fire you dont need to look at it.Put few briquets on gas burner for easy lighting.
