I have not eaten grated coconut for many years as finding a good tool was daunting. This coconut scraper is excellent, functionality exactly as described. I made some delicious poriyal (photo attached) and the quantity of coconut you see is only from half a coconut.The suction power could have been better but I don't think we can expect more at this cost. If your suction fails, you can simply keep the scraper on a platform and rotate the coconut around it like a traditional scraper and the effect will still be the same.As some reviews mentioned, the blade is too close to the main body and some of the grated coconut falls over. This can be easily remedied if you keep your coconut scraper on a plate instead of a platform so you can collect everything that falls too and there is no wastage.The space between each blade is around the width of the tip of your little finger, so it is a bit difficult to wash but you can use a brush to get the coconut scraps out.

The part that churns the coconut is too close to the base so the plate may not be able to catch all the coconut shavings.. but other than that for this price it's wonderful.. It also is good as it consumes less storage space..

It's So easy to use this for coconut scrapping purpose ; It just takes few minutes to scrape a coconut; gives a bit of joy actually 😋Everyone must have a piece of this in their house that eases the tedious work of scrapping a coconut 😊

The suction rubber is the weakest point in this product. It keeps breaking every few uses. Official company replacement not available. Local market replacement doesn't work for long. Keeps breaking the rubber. Even got a brand new product just to avoid hassles of replacement. Exact same problem within a few weeks. Also the metal twisting rod rusts internally every time you wash. This is heights of planned obsolescence by ANJALI. Hope they are happy after fleecing all customers and taking their money by giving sub-standard quality product.

This coconut scraper is lower quality then it looks. The suction is not strong and it seems more flimsy. I later bought the 'Stargrindtm steel coconut scraper tabletop handy moveable coconut scraper' and am very happy with that! This scraper is just sitting unused in a corner.
