Wicked: The Official Advent Calendar: 25 Days of Surprises

I am an original fan of the 20+ year old Broadway musical of Wicked, and I was lucky enough to see and hear Idina Menzel as the original Elphaba in New York in the early 2000s. This new movie revival of Wicked may not to be my cup of tea, but pretty much all of this ew merchandise is 90% on point with being completely compatible as new merchandise of an old play with the same signature colors and items such as green, pink, witch’s hat, witch’s broom, glitter crown, sparkling wand, etc. And so in a way, I get to have the more affordable mass produced accessories and merchandise I would’ve loved to have and afford back in the day, but they didn’t exist yet. I’m loving a lot of the products, and this advent calendar is a must have! Description says, it’s full of different things like stickers, patches, magnets, a keychain, and some cute office stationary type stuff. And then just having the work itself is a lovely item to have as well. It doesn’t matter if you’re a Broadway fan or an Ariana Grande fan, this set of 25 Wicked items will leave you spellbound!

Huge hit with both my high school and college age girls. They loved the little trinkets and looked forward to seeing what new surprise awaited them each day!Very fun and perfect for girls who love theatre!

if you're an adult fan of the musical, this Advent calendar will most likely disappoint you. the items contained are fairly low quality, poorly divided between character themes (only 2 items that were noticably Elphaba, one of which was a paperclip with a boot), and honestly kind of lame. this might be a good present for an elementary or middle school aged child that likes the movie, but even the stickers are just plain paper stickers rather than nice vinyl, and mostly Glinda specific or split between the two, rather than a focus on the main character. I bought this for my sister as a birthday present, and she was not a fan of the contents. most of the 'surprises' will probably be going to Goodwill or forgotten in a desk drawer.

I have been opening a surprise as a countdown to my viewing on the 18th and it has made the waiting so much fun! There are a few silly/small gifts…but there have been some solid scores of gifts that are worth more than the total price of this calendar! Great for the fan of wicked, of reading, magnet/keychain lovers, and more! Have some fun and buy this for yourself or a lover of Wicked!

I got this for my mom for Christmas. She loved opening all of the presents and would send me a picture every day with what she got. Stickers, pencils, notebooks, etc. all super cute!

Purchased for my teen daughter. I realize it's very much a matter of personal preference. Some cute items, but not all were a hit. Who uses wooden pencils anymore? She liked it, but didn't love it.For us, what she received was not worth the price.
