Polyseamseal 2139006 5.5 Oz White All Purpose Adhesive Caulk

I really love this caulk. It works very well for many applications.

I used this Loctite Polyseamseal to seal off my new sink and shower. Compared to other caulks that I have used, this product has reined superior. The combination of a sealant/adhesive it’s not only convenient, but it makes sure that it stays in place. I have been using it for other projects around the house as well. Such as, baseboards, flooring, and plumbing. Highly recommended!

Thankful I can order this on Amazon. Never felt great walking into a hardware store and asking an associate, "Where do you keep your caulk?" and having a discussion about size, thickness, reliability, and quality of such caulk from one man to another. This caulk is the holy grail of all caulk. Just be sure to not cut too much off the tip. There's a line at the tip of the caulk that shows where you should circum...I mean cut. It's easy to make a straight line on the edges of the tub. It's great that this caulk can fill in old cracks. You don't want too much moisture dripping through the cracks. Then you'd get mold growing under the tub and that's not good. The caulk fits perfectly in your hands and you have to BE SURE NOT TO SQUEEZE TOO HARD. Be gently with it or it's gonna make a mess all over the tub. Put on some ltex gloves when you are running your finger across the goop to make it look professional as possible. Plus you don't want dried white goop on your skin. Wer gloves. Buy this caulk and always keep the cap on and store it away. You never know when you need to whip out that caulk again for some other projects

Goes on easy. I recommend to mask off the area in order to end up with clean lines. It would be nice if this tube came with a cap!!

Anytime I turn my wall, or portable AC on, my ceiling vent pulls hot a from outside, inside. As a result, the hallway bathroom, closet, and the hallway is always hot! My apt complex’s maintenance manager suggested I put a plastic tarp on the inside of the vent to keep outside hot air from being pulled in by my AC.Instead of a big plastic tarp, I bought a roll of plastic shelf liner, and cut it to the size of the vent cover. Then I removed the plastic vent cover and laid the shelf liner over it. Problem solved, right? Wrong.When I tried putting the vent cover back, I couldn’t get it flush with the ceiling, and over time, it slowly started falling down, which didn’t help keep outside air from being pulled inside, because it was being pulled in from the sides of the vent cover! 🤦🏻‍♀️So I got Loctite polyseamseal adhesive caul to keep it my ceiling vent cover from slipping down. Though I couldn’t get the vent cover flush with the ceiling on all sides, I was able to keep it from slipping down. It took some time to caulk each side, and hold it up in place as it dried, but it still worked as expected.Only time will tell if it loosens. I’ll update my review if it does.

Been using this stuff on our properties for years and it’s simply the best. Easy to use, easy to clean up after, performs perfectly as advertised.
