When I bought this I honestly thought I was going have to return it. I thought it was just going to another gimmicky piece of junk. But I was desperate. I’m a renter and my apartment has an unusual custom made bathroom with a jacuzzi tub with a shower. The problem is the walls are glass tile and there is no shower curtain. That means every time I showered I’d have mop the floor! No way. I’d already bought a fancy and expensive glue on curtain rod but it fell off after two years and I couldn’t replace the glue. So I bought this. To my surprise and joy it did the trick! It has a lot of pieces, but don’t let that intimidate you. It’s easy to put together just follow the instructions. The system is versatile and is pretty sturdy. I wouldn’t bang it or try to lean on it, of course, but it serves my needs well. If you need a temporary or semipermanent curtain rod or room divider you can’t go wrong with this.

Recently downsized to a tiny home with 2 teens. Giving my kids the 2 bedrooms I decided I would create a small space within the rest of the studio style floor plan using a tension rod curtain holder.This isn’t that difficult to put together as stated in some reviews. TIP: sort the pieces by letter as pictured in the instructions and leave the horizontal bars off to the side.Utilizing this in an L shape along with a book shelf is perfect for our tiny home journey. I’ve created a 6.5 X 9 ft space for myself for about $150 when adding the price of curtains and scoring a free bookshelf.Assembling is not that difficult it may be a bit more time consuming than other options which isn’t that big of deal for the savings.

It took me about an hour and a half to assemble myself. I had to take it down a couple of times and readjust. I was able to make it work with sloped ceilings on the sides (flat in the middle), but my curtains are super light weight (like 1-2 lbs total) so I think that's why. If you're a bit handy you'll be able to figure out the directions ok, but they might be difficult to follow for some.
