A Huge Hit in My 2nd Grade Art Class!
I used the Crayola Colourwhirls Spin Art Toys in my 2nd grade art classroom, and they were a huge hit, especially with the boys! At first, there was a bit of a learning curve getting the hang of the launcher, but once the kids figured it out, they were completely hooked. The spinning tops create fun, colorful designs that had my students totally engaged. They loved experimenting with different color combos and seeing how the patterns changed with speed and direction. It was a perfect mix of art and hands-on play.I also appreciated how durable the pieces are after multiple uses and lots of enthusiastic launching, everything held up great. It sparked a lot of creativity and teamwork in the room, and even some of my more reluctant artists were eager to participate.Highly recommend this as a fun and interactive addition to any elementary art class or even as a unique gift for kids ages 6–8. It brings art to life in a new, exciting way!

Cute idea but the kids lost interest quickly
These sounded like a good indoor recess toy for a 2nd grade classroom. The kids were interested at first but lost interest quickly. They were a bit expensive for the short level of interest. They were also tricky to set up.

No Joy
These are a waste of money, imo. I put a couple of them together for my daughter and she started playing with them. They held up well as she tried to spin them maybe a bit too rough. But even when I tried to show her what to do, the designs were blah at best. Even when spinning at a good rate, they were just boring. Trashed them. Normally, I donate unused toys to charity, but I didn't want to disappoint any other children so these just went in the garbage.

Marker spinners
This is really fun for the kids they love it, I have an xl pad of paper and that will be covered in doodles. Keeps them entertained. The only reason am giving it 4 stars is because, it only had 1 black puller and they had to take turns. I'm not sure have many they actually come with 1 or 2? Super cool idea.

Tough for kids to successfully utilize
My kids (9,6,4) struggled with these. The spin was not easy, so we ended up with a lot of frustrated tears.

A Spinning Top That Turns Playtime into Art
I visited a friend’s house and saw the kids having so much fun playing with it that I decided to buy one for my 6-year-old and 8-year-old nieces. The children were fascinated by the patterns created as the spinning top moved. They spent a long time spinning it over and over, and then they enjoyed drawing on the patterns it made, staying engaged for quite a while. The top spins much more smoothly than expected, and the patterns it creates are intriguing to both kids and adults. It’s definitely a fun toy that can be enjoyed together by children and grown-ups alike.
