It will be a very Nice Surprise!
This is a very good radio. The sound is great and it looks great. It has a 60's look to it and really makes it stand out in a good way. Programming it is not that hard. Just read each step over before trying too program it. Also I love the Blue Tooth option. My perfect alarm radio, but it does not have an alarm (my fault). Even without that I enjoy it when I'm working in my garage!! Would buy again.

Responsive Customer Service and Good Product Performance
The first radio we received had a mis-manufactured plug. Amazon immediately sent a new radio. It worked great. We ordered and tested 5 radios before deciding on this one. Where we are located we need radios with a hard antenna. This had the best reception in addition to the best sound. It, like all the others, is made in China so the long term reliability has yet to be determined.

AM sound is great
Needed a simple kitchen radio and this works out fine. The AM reception is fantastic. Listening to talk programs on AM comes in crystal clear and not harsh. No buzzing, no static, and not muffled. Picks up all the stations without issue.FM comes in clear as well but don't expect to get much bass out of this radio. Bluetooth is quick and works well.

Functions well and is attractive!
I have had this several months. It works great and I think previous lower reviews did not read the instructions carefully, the radio has an auto shut off feature that is set for 30 minutes. You need to turn that feature off when you get the radio. The instructions were clearly not written by an English speaker but interpreted from Chinese a they are awkward but once you figure them out the radio itself is really nice!

Perfect reception on BOTH am and fm.
Needed it for a bathroom that is chrome and black. Looks nice. Sounds even nicer. That extension antenna actually works for BOTH am and fm

Overall tone is poor.
As the headline says, the overall tone of the AM & FM does not have much treble, and rather too much bass. This make music sound dull, and talk radio somewhat unintelligible.

Radio looks good, audio quality is average.
Nice appearance. Easy to use. The speaker quality is average for playing music from Spotify, etc.
