Desolation.
We live on five wooded acres and wanted to be able to get Wi-Fi out to a little guest cabin. The property is wooded, so there isn't a good, clear line of site. The units are only 500-600 feet apart though. We also have satellite internet... so that messes with the system a bit as well as the trees. After several failed attempts I was able to get a signal between the two.It isn't the greatest, but guests can now experience what life was like in the late 90's... with dial-up.I think that these will work better for someone that doesn't have a bunch of trees between the antennas. The process of setting them up was not difficult, but it wasn't plug and play. They are working now, so I'm not going to fiddle with settings any more.

Not Properly Configured Out of Box
Followed all the instructions, paired the devices, had good signal everything. Connection would not work due to errors with the IP configuration. Spent hours and hours trying to fix the settings and it just never worked. Support did not reply.

Perfect!
This review was a long time coming because I needed to complete a whole host of planned renovations on my barn and house before it made sense to start running wires and poles. My barn is 300’ from the house and the direct line from the house roof to the barn roof is partially treed. I worried about that, but should not have. My wifi strength is 100% throughout the barn. It is 90% in my gardens outside the barn, 80% around the side of the barn and 40% inside my travel trailer parked next to the barn. I have no less than 50% wifi strength all the way down the path to the house. In short, full coverage.I use a TP-Link Deco wifi mesh system. I placed one Deco unit in my home’s attic, drilled through the wall and connected it to one of the CPE units using the provided POE plug. I mounted the CPE (and a cell phone booster) on an inexpensive wireless bridge bracket mount. At the barn end I did the same. I plugged a Deco unit into an electric outlet and connected it through the second POE plug and connected that to the second CPE unit which was configured as the “slave” unit. Everything lit up almost immediately. What really made this easy was the fact that I had an existing mesh system. That allowed me to bring strong internet service from the main part of the house up to the attic without having to route ethernet wires through the walls. It also meant that I could simply add a mesh unit to the attic of the barn without having to add a new router up there. The result is that the barn and house are all on the same system with the same ssid.

Range has improved.
Grabbed this to try and extend the throw of our wireless router into the back yard. We have several wireless cams out in the yard for coverage and the two furthest aren't getting the best signal. These are quite plug and play. Plug in the base unit, set accordingly, take the outdoor unit outside, hang it, plug it in and you're done. Works like a champ. Definitely improved the coverage. 👍

Never connected.
I wanted to like this but I just couldn't get it to work. I followed the instructions and watched 2 videos on how to connect and it simply wouldn't work. I hope someone else has better luck but I was displeased with the outcome.

Easy install
We installed this on a property with some outer buildings that needed wifi coverage. Installation and setup was relatively easy. Each bridge was installed with just 2 wood screws and were pretty much plug and play as the instructions say.We have a pretty clear line of sight between the two units and we get 400mbps at the receiving unit that's about 3/4 of a mile away. That's better than I was expecting so Im happy

Don’t buy, don’t waste your time.
Doesn’t work. Support is non-existent. If you contact Amazon for support, they just copy and paste from the manual. Not helpful. I’ve tried resetting the setup multiple times, followed instructions, nothing has worked. I’ve had it where all the lights illuminate fully on both units, yet there’s not data being transferred. I would try something else first before taking a chance with this product and company.Ease of setup is poor. Speed is 0. Wireless connectivity doesn’t work. No point in even giving them a try.

Great for extending range for outdoor security cameras.
I have a house built in 1955 and the walls are cinderblock capped with stone. Nonetheless Wi-Fi signals do not penetrate it very well. I have cameras across the front of my house, and they struggle to get an even signal, often dropping out. With this wireless bridge I found the solution. By putting one of them in the front window in direct sight of the outside receiver, I was able to get the kind of signals for which I was hoping. It will get up to 1000Mbps High Speed. Setup is a breeze. It has one button pairing which does so automatically. It is a Wireless Bridge Dual Band 2.4GHz & 5.8GHz unlike many devices which scream 2.4 only. This is a better solution than others which require you to run an ethernet cable from within your home to the outside. In my case that would require me to crawl around in the attic running a cable. I can connect the inside unit in a signal transparent window, and then wirelessly it connects and projects from the outside unit. Overall, highly recommended.
