My daughter had her first dance recital, and each type of tool here helped! The elastics were a great size for ponytails and also for going over a bun mesh/donut. I used the more open pins to hold the bun, and some of the tighter pins to help hold her headband on. She was able to keep the hair style for another day or two with how well it held. She has fine, brown hair, and these worked perfectly for her. This will last us a long time, even with two dancers and if I used it myself

These are the only hair pins that work on my daughter’s hair for dance shows. They hold her hair in place for 12 hours. It’s great!
