Excellent Product for it's purpose
Overall Impression:The Nothing Ear Open Wireless Earbuds strike a perfect balance between staying connected to your surroundings and enjoying quality audio. Designed for all-day wear, they excel in comfort and practicality, making them an ideal companion for office use or social environments.Initial Expectations vs. Reality:I purchased these earbuds specifically to remain aware of my surroundings while listening to audio—whether at work or around the house. I wasn’t expecting immersive sound akin to in-ear monitors (IEMs), but I hoped for solid performance, good call quality, and all-day comfort. The earbuds delivered exactly as expected, with a few small compromises.Design and Build Quality:The open-ear design is sleek and modern, fitting snugly without ever feeling intrusive. From the start, the comfort level stood out—these earbuds stay securely in place without causing ear fatigue, even after extended use. The compact, portable case is convenient to carry, and the touch controls are responsive and intuitive.Performance and Usability:The sound quality is impressive for an open-ear design. While they don’t rival the immersive depth of high-end IEMs like my Bose QuietComfort Ultra, the clarity and balance are more than sufficient for podcasts, calls, and casual music listening. The microphone quality is excellent—calls are crisp, and colleagues have consistently noted how clear I sound during meetings. Battery life is another highlight, easily lasting through a full day and beyond without needing a recharge.Pros:Open design allows for awareness of surroundings, perfect for office environments or social settings.Comfortable and secure fit—ideal for long wear without fatigue.Great microphone quality for clear calls.Long battery life that powers through the day effortlessly.Responsive touch controls that enhance usability.Cons:No wireless charging—a minor drawback for those used to this convenience.Limited to one color—a bit disappointing for users who prefer customization.Sound quality, while good, doesn’t match IEMs—acceptable trade-off for the open design.Who Would Benefit Most:These earbuds are ideal for professionals working in office environments, casual listeners, and anyone who values staying connected to their environment. They’re perfect for situations where full immersion isn’t necessary, like working around others or attending virtual meetings. For more immersive experiences, I still rely on my Bose QuietComfort Ultra, but the Nothing Ear open is unbeatable for day-to-day use.Final Thoughts:The Nothing Ear Open Wireless Earbuds excel at what they’re designed for—keeping you present while delivering solid sound and call quality. They’ve become an essential part of my routine, seamlessly fitting into office life and social settings. If you’re looking for earbuds that prioritize awareness and comfort, this is a 5-star product that delivers exceptional value.

Amazing quality, for its design
After using them for a few days, here’s some key notes that are worth considering:• These are not designed to sit in your ear, and it may take time getting used to that.• Battery life may vary, depending on features enabled on your phone.• Sound quality will be affected by the environment, since your ears remain open (which is how this is designed to fit).To be fair, I’ve used these in environments that have a lot of ambient noise. The ambient sounds do mess with my ability to hear music, but I’m still not fully adjusted to the design of these buds. However, these are the first open-ear buds I’ve tried. For sound quality, I have to say these are great. Compared to the CMF buds, the only difference I’ve heard was the EQ. The CMF buds are some of the highest quality buds I’ve tried, and the Nothing Ear (open) matches that quality. Not only that, you’ll be able to hear your surroundings without removing them. Since they sit on your ear to leave it open, you’ll have no problems hearing what people try to tell you. If you’re trying to ignore someone, just use normal earbuds. On iOS devices, the battery lasts around 6-7 hours on a single charge, with the case extending it up to 30 hours. This is with Cross Fade enabled, while looping through a playlist. The Nothing X app is finicky, but we aren’t here to talk about the app. We’re here to talk about the hardware. Overall, I think these are the perfect pair of buds (especially for people with ADHD or potential hearing issues). As someone with both ADHD and slight hearing issues, I can’t recommend these enough. Great value, for the price tag*TLDR; I did purchase this product during a sale, but I would still recommend these buds. They work very well, they fit comfortably (once you get used to them), and you can still connect them without the app. The app is mostly for EQ & control customization. Sound quality may be affected by environment, but it still shines with high quality sound. Lastly, the battery lasts long enough for your everyday needs.

Unique Design, But Fit & Sound Didn’t Meet Expectations
I was excited to try the Nothing Ear (Open) Open-Ear Headphones, but they didn’t quite meet my expectations. The open-ear design is interesting, and they’re lightweight, but the fit felt a bit awkward—not uncomfortable, just not as secure as I’d like. They sit on the ears rather than in them, which takes some getting used to.The sound quality is decent, but if you’re used to premium in-ear buds, you might find it lacking. The bass isn’t as deep, and the overall audio doesn’t feel as immersive compared to high-end earbuds with noise isolation. That’s probably expected given the open-ear design, but still worth noting.✅ Pros:Unique open-ear design, good for situational awarenessLightweight and easy to wear for long periodsDecent battery life❌ Cons:Fit feels awkward and not as secure as in-ear budsSound lacks depth, especially in bassNot as immersive as traditional premium earbudsIf you’re looking for an open-ear alternative for casual listening, these might be a good fit. But if you’re used to premium sound quality, you might find them a step down.
