Certainly works but rusted with in a couple of weeks

I got this chain to help secure a homemade gate at the back of my garden which opens out to the playing field. I made the gate to help take the dog for a walk in the field instead of having to walk down to the main entrance and then back up again. The trouble is he doesn't want to go through the gap, so I am trying to secure it firmly in place and this is better than the rope I've been using. It's nice and strong and I have a padlock for it.

lightweight chain for gates
This is a rather light weight chain for closing a field gate. It does the job but really to withstand the forces we have every day here on our field gates we need something much heavier weight. This is fine for a light weight garden gate.The chain itself is well made and useful for a lightweight situation.
