Small, Compact, full featured security camera to discretely monitor a situation.
The media could not be loaded. I wanted a way to ‘Check-in’ on some birds we have nesting nearby. This camera fits the bill just right. I need to say right off that even though it says it’s indoor/outdoor, it is NOT an outdoor camera. Not even a little moisture-resistant. My plexiglass enclosure was for the birds, (Haha, I made a funny one) but if you use it indoors, then you're golden.I was very surprised by how small it was, it is very small, however, not quite as small as the advertisement lets on. At the same time, it had a very clear picture. One very odd thing I noticed was of the three resolution modes, SD, HD, and Super HD, the Super HD and HD produced the same resolution, 1920 by 1080. This was pretty common with inexpensive products from overseas but unnecessary because the HD mode was more than sufficient for everyday viewing. You can see the various views in my video and stills. Really, for the money, this camera came through like gangbusters. I’m really happy with it, mostly because of its size, and of course, it works well and at a great price. I did not read the manual immediately because I know most of you folks won't either. I just jumped right in and started fiddling with it. It wasn’t a problem setting things up, but remember, you can always go off and read the manual, it answers a lot of questions. It does not include an SD card, nor does it come with a wall-bug, sometimes referred to as a wall-wart or power-brick, but most any 5V black box with a USB jack will work. Ideally, it should be a 2 amp supply, but most of our old phone chargers are. It has an internal battery but I did not test how long it would last, it’s a nice feature in case someone interrupts the power supply during a critical moment. Sad note; sorry for the blurring, I needed to cover the unique camera serial number, however, I think you are probably familiar with inserting an SD card, and you can obviously see where it goes.In closing; it’s really a pretty nice camera, its small size tends to make one feel toyish, but actually a very nice camera. I’m glad I have one~!~

Love the size, stealth look and adjustable stand.Eventually you'll figure it out when you learn to read Chinese. It's suggests that you subscribe, but don't do it. They already have access to viewing your home.Once it's set up you can easily watch the dog defecate on your sofa and tear up pillows. Not the greatest hi definition in the world and you can't move the camera around, though you can hear the dog start speaking Chinese, but I don't think you can call and talk to Fido to open up for the mailman.

Simple camera solution
This is a great, simple solution for a point security issue where you just need to cover a single spot. Great for a hallway, monitoring an entrance, etc.Simple to install and operate. Works fine.It is a stand-alone solution, so you get what you get. Limited storage, etc...But, for what it is designed for it is great. Connectivity is good, setup simple.Would be great for dorms, apartment complexes, remote areas where there isn't a lot of activity. You do have to keep on top of it in terms of power and storage, but that isn't a major hassle.

Mixed feelings on this
I have mixed feelings on this camera. While it does some things very well, In my opinion, it is not what I would call a security camera. The plusses.- It is amazing the functionality that is in this very small, neatly built unit.- The WIFI worked great - much longer range than the "26 inches" claimed in the description ;-)- I mostly use the "full HD" scale, but there is a 4K option and a lower resolution option that both seem to work. The videos are quite clear if the lighting is good.- You can record to either a micro-SD card, or to a reasonably priced cloud service. You are repeatedly reminded to set up the cloud service, (but do not have to) so I assume this is priced aggressively to get subscribers to the service. The minuses.- The USB plug is a micro-usb. This isn't 2015! I am trying to migrate all my stuff and cables to usb-c.- There is no way to tell when the battery is full without opening the app. When plugged in to a usb port, there is an internal yellow led on, and it stays on whenever plugged in - whether the battery is at 100% or not.- In spite of what the description says, this is NOT waterproof, and I would only use it outside in a VERY protected location.- The unit only runs for about 4 hours on battery. Basically, you need to keep it plugged in for any long term monitoring.- I played around alot, but was never able to get the motion detection to work reliably. I pointed this at my front door, and wanted to get a notification when someone knocked, or dropped off a package, and not any other time! There are sensitivity settings, and a "human detection" capability. For me, nothing worked reliably - notifying me when someone came by, but not when tree shadows moved.- The only mounting option is a screwed down plate. If you don't have power right there, you need to unscrew the unit to take it to a charger. The Android app is so-so. Basic functionality is there. Alot of things seemed more difficult than they needed to be. I never figured out how to efficiently view events at a specific time on the stored video.Oh, and I did not play around at all with the nighttime IR capability! For me, this combination makes for a lousy front door security camera. This would be a great baby monitor. It would be fine as an always-on dash cam - if you jink around with the mounting.I would probably work OK as an inside security camera, near a usb plug, and in an environment that normally has no movement.

just okay
So these cameras are really slid for security. They hold a charge for a long time and are very reactive to movement, which is awesome! the problem is that if you try to do a 6 hour video, they'll just turn themselves off and stop recording, and there's no real way to do anything about that.

Excellent for home security
I have been wanting to put cameras up around my house for security when my family isn't home and this camera has been great. It alerts me to any motions in the house when we aren't home. We have 6 big dogs and while they are great at guarding the house, we want the extra security to be able to say that the dogs were well within their own rights to protect against an intruder and this does exactly that for us. Definitely recommend to anyone wanting discreet but trustworthy video footage of their home.
