Half the enclosure is wood, didn't realize that, last one I bought was not so didn't assume this one would be. When the tortoise goes to the bathroom it will absorb in the wood. The stink will stay!!

Super nice tortoise cage! It came very well packed and secured with all the correct pieces and Hardware to get this fully assembled and ready to use! The directions were clear and easy to read so my husband was able to get this put together in no time. The directions were very easy to follow and everything was very easier friendly. After getting it fully assembled it is super heavy duty and very well made. We will be keeping this out in our garage because it is heated so it really doesn't bother me that it's wood, but if you're keeping it indoors you may want to put some stuff down that would absorb the turtle urine so it doesn't soak into the wood. All the measurements match up perfectly with the ad so this was the perfect size that I needed. After this is fully assembled this definitely has some weight to it, but it's also lightweight enough you can maneuver it wherever you need it to be. Very sturdy with no wobbling. Everything seems super durable and like it will last for years! Definitely a solid 10 out of 10 and a great bang for your buck

Got this for my sulcata hatchling and so far it’s perfect for his size!Easily put together and seems well made compared to others I’ve owned. Worth the buy if you’ve got a tortoise

I gifted this to a friend who has two turtles that needed a bigger space to live and move around in. We assembled it together and all pieces were there, directions were clear and this took about 40 minutes to finish. This has a very nice, finished look when completed and is a nice size- large enough for animals to move around well, but easy to put against a wall so it doesn't take up the whole room. It is sturdy and well finished, the hinges move well and this seems like it will be easy to clean. This says that it is for indoor or outdoor use, since it just arrived and will be used inside, I cannot speak to how well it would hold up outdoors, but it is a nice enclosure and well made for the price.
