Perfect addition to a hot porch!
Nice little awning, does the job well!.. easy to put together and looks nice!

Great Product
It is a bit difficult to install, I suggest at least two people to make it faster. But the product meets all the manufacturer's specifications, it is easy to use. We have had it for 3 months and it is super durable.

As advertised but, a little flimsy
Fast shipping. Item arrived as advertised. I purchased this retractable awning to protect my swimming pool equipment from direct sunlight, especially during the Summer months. It dies exactly that. My only concern is longevity. Strong winds will surely rip the material of this awning.

Do not buy poor quality.
Poor design, Poor quality, Instructions are horrible. Look at the other 1 star reviews they are the truth.

Nice, but not for wind or rain.
Looks great, fairly easy to put together & install. Would have given it 5 stars but the description says waterproof rain protection and the install info says 'not for rain protection'. Additionally is is not very heavy duty. Instructions say not for more than wind level 2, which is less than 5mph winds. So if you have no wind, and didn't want it protect an entry from rain, it's a nice awning. Mine will get wet, so we'll see how long it lasts.

Great for price
Works perfectly for what I needed it for my little backyard. I used to have a gazebo but this is a much better option since it takes up way less floor space. Also the canopy material for this is a lot thicker, and I'm hoping more durable than a gazebo canopy, which doesn't hold up on the Arizona sun/heat. I don't like that a lot of parts are plastic since they'll probably break some day but these are very affordable to just replace the whole thing if that happens. If you get one of the larger sizes (I got 118 inch) you will probably need somebody to help you set this up, it was REALLY hard by myself to hang up. Everything else was easy though.

I Am Gladd I Bpought It
This awning is working out great! My front door faces West, and when the sun starts setting, it shines directly on my front door making it so hot that it is hard to touch my door knob.. Putting together the awning was not that hard, but I would suggest watching the video on how to do it first. I would also suggest having two people put it together. The crank handle makes it easy to roll it up and down and once installed, the awning is very sturdy. However, the awning does not roll down so it is vertical, making it somewhat useless when the sun is about to set. To remedy that, I am purchasing a small tarp to attach to the bottom to act as a removable curtain so I have shade no matter what. . All in all, I am glad I bought it.
