Children's Encyclopedia of Dinosaurs (Arcturus Children's Reference Library)

We buy ALOT of dinosaur books for our boy and this one has to be one of the absolute best. Bright, colourful and lots of details! Each dinosaur has a 2page description and lots of facts and information. Finally a good dinosaur book!

A semi-intellectual tome that delineates the various elements of the topic with great clarity (Thesaurus).

My 8yr old and 5yr old boys loved this (as did their daddy!). Nice illustrations, good spread of dinosaurs and enough facts without being boring

My 5yr old loves dinosaurs and loves learning about them. He loves this book and it’s wonderfully illustrated.

Great for reading with children but has small sections of text they can read themselves. Some of the language describing how carnivores capture prey is a little gruesome but I just edit as I read it it’s bedtime
