LEGOCreator 3in1 Modular Sweet Surprises 31077 Building Kit (396 Pieces)

Sweet Surprises is really fun to build. There are some fun bakery and café themed pieces. One cool thing I like about the 3in1 modular sets is that, for the 3in1 part, there are instructions included for building the set into three different builds. For the modular part, sections of the building can be swapped around to make a different configuration with the same base build, so there are even more ways to customize. There are 3 minifigures included - a girl, a boy, and a chef. If you are a fan of LEGO Creator, of LEGO, of buildings, or of sweet treatss, or you think you might be, then this is a great set for you.The pieces come in 5 bags, with smaller bags inside the main bags, and an aqua 8x16 baseplate. When you build it, the instructions will have you build using the pieces from the bags labeled "1", then once those bags are completed, continue with the pieces from the bags labeled "2", and so on. I've found that it's useful to open all of the bags for the particular number, but keep the pieces a little bit separate. The pieces aren't randomly distributed between bags - instead, all of the pieces of a particular type may be in one or two bags, so if you dump the bags out and keep the pieces slightly separate, once you've found which pile your piece is in, you may find the rest of them in that same pile or in that one and one other.There are 3 instruction booklets, one for each of the 3 build configurations. The number of pages (or thickness) of the booklet gives a rough idea of the complexity of the build - fewer pages make for an easier build, and the thicker booklets are a bit more advanced - that may mean new building techniques, or it could just mean more pieces to place. The instruction booklets have nice imagery and clear instructions. All text is provided in English, French, and Spanish. The instructions themselves, in usual LEGO style, are all pictures and symbols.

This is one of my 5 year old son's favorite Lego builds. The pieces are brightly colored, the directions were clear and he enjoyed building it. At 5, he needed some support to build this set as it's geared towards an older age bracket. It was a good quality time activity on a weekend. He built this in a few days and proudly displays it in his bedroom. As expected, this is a high quality, engaging Lego build kit. I love you can choose which of the 3-1 designs to build and then later change the design. I highly recommend this set!

The details on this are great. I found the price to be lower than other LEGO sets of roughly the same size so I kinda thought it may not be that great (less popular hence lower price) but honestly this is one of my favorite additions to our LEGO city table. My 4 year old loves it and loves playing with it. One of the displays even spins. His dad and I had to put it together but it wasn’t too bad. Because of all the small details it was time consuming (id say it took us at least an hour or more) and tedious at times, but worth it.

We love the Lego 3 in 1 Creator sets! Such fun to build not only 1 set, but all three! It adds versatility to the set! If your children are avid builders, it helps them see just how creative they can be with a set of bricks! Sure, it can the Modular Sweet Surprises, but it can also be a 2 other sets!This was built by an 11 year old in just a couple of hours. She chose to build the Pool House first. I love the instructions are included for each of the three builds and step by step, it takes you to the finished product.If your child needs something a little more than Lego City or Lego Friends, this is a great next step! We still love every level of Lego sets. At some point, they are all incorporated into our magical world of Lego!I think you will find even the younger builder able to build this set with a little help. The bricks are the same size as you are use to, but the three in one build definitely adds a new dimension! Within minutes, the dolphins from our Lego Friends sets were in the pool! Lego has been inspiring imagination for many years!My husband has always said he will never say no to a new book or Legos! I couldn't agree more! A timeless classic!

Colorful and up to Legos' usual high standards. I am an adult who builds these models to reduce stress. And I love selecting ones with great themes (like the beach houses) and also great colors. This one has three great models, including a pool house, a corner café and the wonderful sweet shop that looks like something out of Walt Disney. I get cheered up just working on it and then looking at the finished product. I don't think Legos is just for kids and really works wonderfully as a very compelling and relaxing hobby for anyone who enjoys working with his or her hands.

Loved all the parts and it is so cute together but the biggest complaint is that the bakers hair and hat were attached and would NOT stay on the head. I imagine it was defective but still it is a main character and it is flawed!!! So if you are handy with super glue you might love this set as everything else seemed perfect and there were a few extra parts in case you lose some which is great!!

Super cute and great idea to spend time with your child. Legos are always great quality.. My son loves this set. Was the first one he wanted to build out of all the sets he got for Christmas.

It's a fun build, and I like the moving parts and 3-in-1 for extra play. The builds are not very strong and pieces will fall off if not moved carefully.
