First of I could not be happier with this purchase, as others have mentioned the quality is surprising for the price of the stand. Assembly was quick and easy, everything is metal, no cheap plastic you have to worry about cracking. The stand itself is very stable and it doesn't get wobbly when I put my music books on it, and it breaks down to go into the bag, which isn't the highest quality, but it's still a niece roomy bag. The lights require 3 AAA batteries and while they each have 2 settings, even the lowest setting lights everything up. If you were looking to save battery power, you could easily just use 1 of the lights.I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a music stand. All of that being said, I did make a couple modifications that I would like to mention.First, As you can see in the pictures I added a Violin holder (works fine for viola's as well) so I can just hang my viola & bow securely right on the stand, this way everything is together when I sit to play. You can purchase the hanger here on amazon for about $15.00. If you do this, position it so it holds the viola/violin over one of the legs so the weight doesn't make it want to tip forward, it really is very stable this way. The camera holder is attached, but off to the side and out of the way, if I need it, I just loosen it, swing it around front and re-tighten it.Also, as the picture shows, to save money on batteries, I used velcro to attach a small portable phone charger I had in a drawer to the back and used the cord that came with lights to plug into it. This will outlast any batteries I could buy and is easily recharged when it gets low. The lights are small and LED, so I shouldn't have to recharge it for some time.The last thing I recommend is this, if you are going to record yourself, buy a "phone camera remote" from Amazon, they're less than $10.00 and make starting and stopping the recording much easier.

I’m 6’3 and needed something that was going to be tall enough for me and this stand is perfect. The stand itself is really sturdy and all the little tidbits it comes with are cool too! I’d definitely recommend this, or others alike, to anyone looking for a music stand at a great price ($24.99)! I have a microphone stand that cost so much but the quality is trash so just remember that when you’re thinking ‘higher price, higher quality’ cause you might stumble upon something like this for an affordable price!

The music tray is a little thin and flimsy ,but it works. It comes With a set of antenna type lights that clip on to the top of the Tray. It comes with a choice of power supply, batteries or plug in. Plus it comes with a phone holder under the music tray That clamps on the tripod. All for round twenty bucks! Like I said nice tripod.

It is very lightweight but sturdy enough. Two things...the directions I received for assembly were wrong for this exact stand, but the listing had directions and it wasn't tricky anyway. Second, the light is very bright which is great, but it isn't chargable....it has to remain plugged in to turn on, not super convenient.

This arrived yesterday and my son put it together easily. The parts fit together well and it is nice quality. Great product for the money. He loves the lights and phone holder features!

Does the job but it is not very sturdy. One of the metal bracing bars on the feet broke as i was actually opening up the feet for the first time. It does what i need for now but will have to upgrade in the future.

In spite of the low price, this is a quality piece. And unlike most other music stands, this one can be set to a low height, so in a seated position it will not obstruct your view of your audience, nor their view of you. It came with other gadgets and no instructions. A carrying case is provided, so once you disasseble it, you can keep everything in one place.I was pleased with what I got for the money.
