I simply cannot believe the manufacturer makes any money selling these knives at these prices. The quality and workmanship is on par with similar products costing several times as much. I haven't used the knife long enough to say how it holds an edge, but I can tell you it came from the factory easily sharp enough to shave with. The finish is interesting; they call it "stone wash," which seems appropriate. Think of a matte finish on a photograph. It should be very effective at hiding scrapes and scratches. The handle is made from a durable material that will almost certainly last longer than me. If you're at all mechanically inclined, the open/close action will bring a smile to your face. Pull down on the cross-bar lock with a little flick of your wrist and suddenly a knife appears! It's almost magical.If this knife fails to hold up the way I think it will I will update this review, but for now color me impressed.

Was not a fan of this knife at first. Couldn't deploy blade or close quickly. Lock felt way too stiff. But something about the design (and other glowing well-respected reviews) urged me to keep trying. And then I got it. Open and close on those bearing with the quickness. And since then, my estimation of this knife has grown immensely. In the absence of that operator error this is a five star purchase for sure. A regular EDC for me nowadays. Glad that I waited a bit to write this review. Hope this helps others to appreciate their own more as well.

I bought this knife because I wanted to get a light weight EDC under 3 ounces, and this one comes in at 2.68. Yes, as others have noted, the cross bar lock is rather stiff, but I don’t mind that too much. The thumb opening doesn’t work well for me, so when closed I just disengage the cross bar lock, which brings the blade out just enough that I can do a quick flick of the wrist and deploy. This is a knife meant to be used so use two hands to deploy if you want. The fidget factor isn’t a big deal with me. This CJRB is less than half the cost of many lightweight knives on the market, so it’s a winner. I’d give it 4 1/2 stars if I could.

Bought this for my husband and he absolutely loves it! The price is right, great quality, super sharp so be careful. Even with it barely touching you it can cut. Will most definitely be buying more from this company.

Great knife for the money, good action, good lockup, smooth opening.

Fantastic would buy again!

The knife comes sharp right out of the box, and the blade quality feels solid. However, it's not quite as quick or agile as expected. Time will tell how well the edge holds up with regular use. The included bag and cloth seem unnecessary—removing them and knocking about $5 off the price would make more sense.

So far so good, works as it should, easy to use, mechanically sound.
