I keep getting electrocuted by my laptop when it is plugged in to the charger through this extension (I bought the 5 metre one). Every time I leave my desk for a few minutes, I come back to an electric shock. It’s not a charger or a laptop issue because I don’t have the same problem when using a GM or a Havells extension. I could not find an ISI mark on the box - maybe it’s an unsafe product? I’ve asked for a replacement - I will change my rating if the new one works well.Update after two months: I switched to a GM extension for the laptop. Folks at Hoteon read the review and contacted me to offer a replacement. I’m changing my rating here because the seller definitely cares about the quality. I did not opt for a replacement though. I’m using it for charging phones, iPads etc and it’s working fine.
