Can you use a trangia stove in this

You could but it's a decent gap between the top of the trangia and the stove top. This thing isn't light. If your planning on carrying it you may be better off using a lighter trangia stove or something similar. These use a sterno canned fuel which isn't that efficient and the whole thing is quite bulky.

Yes the stove is compatible with any gel type fuel cans and most alcohol stoves such as the trangia. You can probably use hexamine tablets and burn twigs in it at a push. They are very versatile little stoves.
