Outstanding product!
My 3 1/2 month old son uses a swaddle every night. Lately he has been fighting it and getting his arms free and is seconds away from rolling. I read online that swaddling one arm for a week and then losing the swaddle completely is a good way to get them used to having their little arms free. However, his startle reflex is still super prevalent and he frequently woke up the first night without it. In a 3 am groggy haze, I found this WONDERFUL michelin man looking outfit. It was not only affordable, but also delivered the very next day. We have had it for 3 nights now and this thing has my son sleeping within 10 minutes!!! He normally gets pretty frustrated and has a relatively difficult time falling asleep. This definitely helps assist with sleep training too because he can fall asleep comfortably without us having to hold him every time. I will say, I am thankful it’s winter because it’s such a warm outfit, as you can imagine. 100% recommending this to my friends with infants.

My saving grace for sleep training!!
In the process of trying to sleep train my baby, I heard of this sleep suit. I gave it a try after trying almost every other sleep training trick (minus crying it out cause I don’t believe in that). I’m so glad I did. I had the issue of my baby wanting to be held for naps and her hands startling her or her pulling her pacifier out her mouth while she’s half asleep. The sleep suit makes her feel secure and it restricts her movement enough but not to where she completely cannot reach her face. She sleeps longer stretches without being held and doesn’t wake herself up as much. I didn’t even use this as a transition from swaddling cause she never loved swaddling. I just started using it and she loved it from the jump. My only concern was she would get too hot but I put her in just a diaper with it and she never gets too hot. I just wish I would’ve purchased this sooner!!

Never Give Up!!
Our son was never an easy sleeper from day one. After a couple of months of sleepless nights and constantly getting up to re-plug the pacifier in, I was desperate for a solution! I purchased the small Merlin Magic Sleepsuit, because I planned on LO in it as close to 3 months as possible. At 3 months, sure enough, LO threw fit after fit and we couldn't get a decent nap out of him. The Sleepsuit did not work well for us at 3 months. So then around 4 months, we tried it again, this time with a sleep coach helping us! I will never do that again! I know that as a whole, there were many different angles as why the situation was the worst night of our lives, incuding the 4 month regression that lasted 7 weeks. But, guilty by association, the Sleepsuit was put away. Again. Cue 6 months and all that goes along with it! Our little boy was growing so long that swaddling him was getting difficult, because he would break out. He was too big for any commercial swaddles and I had to use a receiving blanket/swaddle blanket combo just to wrangle him. Teething happened as well as starting to roll over, in the swaddle. At. The. Same. Time. COME ON!!! Out of his first 6 months of life, our kid gave us 3 weeks of bliss (which was getting up only 3 times until 4am and then only 2 or 3 times between 4 and 6am). Once again desperate, knowing LO could NOT be swaddled anymore for his safety, I cringed at the notion of sleep transition suits. I bit the bullet and purchased the large Merlin Sleepsuit, praying that this time would be different. I received the package just in time for LO's last nap of the day this past Friday. At 20 min, my husband went to reinsert the pacifier and after an hour, I had to go wake him to save bedtime. That night, we got up a couple times for the paci and then a few times between 4 and 6am, which I expected to happen. His naps went great the next day, I didn't have to go in to re-settle at all! And then last night, I was up at 3:45am to put the paci in! LO soothed himself to sleep all night, except for then, and woke up just after 6:00! What a relief! Probably one of the best nights we have had in a long time! I know we still have some bad nights ahead of us, but the Sleepsuit has helped the last 2 nights and as a sleep deprived parent, that is a Godsend! I guess we just needed to wait until our son was ready on his terms to be unswaddled. I am so glad we re-purchased the Sleep suit. Definitely worth the money for us this time!
