Niche product but good to have around
As tests through hospitals can take a while and blood in stool is serious, this is a great test kit to have around if you have any history with this problem. It's easy to set up (for your benefit I didn't include pictures) and gives a quick reading - it's a bit like a COVID test, but very much *not* like a COVID test if you know what I mean. The 'fecal test' strip flushed away very easily. This might be the least glamorous review I've ever done, this might make me question my writing career...but it's a test kit that might potentially be very important for many. Happy pooing.

fecal blood test
This is a review of 'Check My Wellbeing Bowel Cancer (Fecal Occult Blood) Test Kit | Simple to use at-Home Test | Rapid Results | Individually Heat Sealed for Ultimate Hygiene'.This is a test for hidden blood in the stool (feces). It can be easily conducted at home and is a good option for those under the ages for free nhs testing. The test instructions are easy to follow. This will involve taking a stool sample, taking 3 different samples from the stool at different places, and mixing this with the liquid testing agent provided. It works somewhat similarly to the covid tests so it should be easy to follow for most. The stool collection kit included works well and made the process relatively seamless. I was pleased to see the result was negative which provides peace of mind.Overall I think this is a good product and can be used to provide peace of mind or a first level of testing before going to the doctor if needed.

Not great
Hard to know. My instructions on reading results is v u clear so I ended up going to doc and requesting a colonoscopy anyway. Could have just done that in the first place. I did email company to ask about reading results but no responce. I'd say if concerned or even not just go to doc

Worth testing ourselves
Ordered this home testing kit just to see what's results will come up. This time i wanted to test husband who doesn't have any symptoms, but it's still worth checking as sometimes there is no symptoms.Just wanted to find out that he is clear from that, and thankfully, according to this home test he doesn't have hidden blood in stool. The test was really easy to do. Instruction is clear and simple. This test gives clear results within 15 minutes which is by 10 minutes longer than other test i took for myself. And for under £10, it's really worth to know are we at risk of bowel cancer or not.All the parts of this kit is good. The paper sheet is like large band which sticks on the toilet seat. The sample stick collects the stool sample in (best if sampled in 3 places) and goes inside the container with liquid. Shake it well for a minute. After this short time we place 2 drops of the liquid mixed with the poo sample on the cassette and wait 15 minutes for the results. One line near letter C says that test is negative and two lines on C and T shows that we might be at risk of bowel cancer and further tests will be needed at GP or hospital.I can recommend this test to anyone who might have some symptoms and wants to test themselves. Be aware that the teat has its expiry date. Ours had 30.03.2025.

Easy to follow instructions
Despite this being, potentially, a messy exercise to undertake, the instructions were clear and concise meaning other than following them and getting the results this was a really easy undertaking. Results were quick and I'm hoping they are accurate!

A Simple Test for Peace of Mind
Cancer is not something anybody wants to consider but it is unfortunately a fact for far too many people. Simple testing kits like this Check My Wellbeing pack can help to give you peace of mind, or at least a, hopefully, early warning that something may not be quite right. These testing kits by themselves, while useful, should not be your only check. If you have any concerns at all you should speak to a medical professional. As to this particular test kit, it is very simple to use and only takes a few minutes to use and 15 minutes for the result, though in my testing the result was clear after only around a minute and did not change. These kits are very similar in design to the COVID testing kits where you put your sample on the testing device and you get one bar for OK and two when further advice may need to be sought. Everything you need is in the kit and the instructions are clear and include diagrams. While the NHS will start sending home testing kits to you at the age of 60 (this number is reducing and at 54 I received my first kit a few months ago), you do need to send your kit off and await the result, which can make people anxious. With kits like these from Check My Wellbeing you get an almost immediate result and for less than a tenner this kit is, in my opinion, definitely something worth getting if you have any concerns at all.

Quick and easy
Very pleased to try this out and check my bowel health - not in the age group for the NHS tests yet, so it's great to have affordable and easy to access options like these for peace of mind. I found this quick and easy to use, with clear instructions. The instructions provided were clear and straightforward, making the entire process user-friendly. The kit is designed for individuals who may feel apprehensive about traditional testing methods, allowing for a discreet and comfortable experience. The materials are well-organised, which simplified the procedure significantly.
