Good for seniors
I needed a phone for a grandma who is not technologically inclined. It has more features than most flip phones while still being easy to use. Worth it

A basic, no-frills phone!
I got this phone for my great, great aunt, who is in her 90's. Her phone died and she needed a new phone, but she didn't want a smartphone like I use. She said she wanted a basic phone like she had. So here is what she got...she wanted a flip phone. Just a basic no frills phone. This phone will work with TMobile, so she didn't even have to change providers. She likes this phone! She says it isn't complicated and she didn't have to learn to use a smart phone. She is very happy!

A really good flip phone.
This is the second senior phone in a year for my elderly relative. No freeze up or bugs, like the jethro. Also the first phone screen got cracked in the second month on the jethro, but it is clam shell protected on this phone. The band coverage looks suitable for tmobile and att. And it's unlocked. The default speedtalk card is reasonably priced if you don't intend to use the phone beyond emergencies and rare occasions. But there are better options if you need unlimited talk and text. But it's less of a hassle and no waiting if you just activate the SD card that comes with the phone. The phone is a dual Sim, so you could have an att and tmobile card in it for better coverage. It has a few of the Verizon bands, but lacks important one's. But the carrier I chose saw my imeid as only tmobile, but I think the problem was with my mvno and not the phone. The color is very beautiful. The outside screen is nice looking, but I always broke my own exposed outer flip phone screens in days of working. I carried and used a flip phone from 1999 to 2022 on the Verizon network, even after getting my att, tmobile and sprint smart phones. Holding this phone in my hand was a comforting experience, since my old familiar flip phone battery always lasted 5 days and worked when my smartphones did not. But my old flip phone could pull a doppler radar and surf the web using a 2g proxy, and check and send my Gmail, which this phone cannot. Nevertheless, it is the phone needed for an elderly person. The cradle is a tad flakey-needing phone wiggling before it charges-and I expect the need to convert it to the USB magnet system in 6 months, which fortunately I was able to train my anti technology elders to do.

Basic phone for calls
The phone was easy to set up and was able to activate the sim card. Phone calls work well but creating contacts and text is definitely not a good experience. Overall it works and gets the job done.

Classic flip phone
This is a great phone for anyone who wants a basic flip phone. It's compact, works with T-Mobile, and has all the basic features I need. The listing says it only works with Speedtalk, but it's compatible with T-Mobile, so if you don't like the Speedtalk plan, you can switch to T-Mobile. Overall, it's an excellent phone that's hard to beat, especially for the price.

No so easy to use
Cheap plastic phone. Adding a phone number takes a lot of taps as there is no keyboard. If you only have to add one or two numbers, then maybe it's okay for you. Texting is a nightmare. I couldn't figure out how to block unknown numbers. Adding the cell phone service was easy. There are much better phones out there for seniors. A better option may be a memory phone such as RAZ or DORO.

Perfect Phone for Seniors with Thoughtful Features (Works well with Metro PCS/T-Mobile)
This flip phone is an excellent choice for elderly users. It’s simple to use, works seamlessly with Metro PCS, and is clearly designed with seniors in mind. The large screen, big buttons, and straightforward layout make it easy for my 81-year-old father to navigate. The bright red color is a nice touch—it makes the phone easier to spot. The SOS button is a standout feature, and I’ve linked it to my number so it calls and texts me in emergencies, which gives us both peace of mind. The included charging dock is another thoughtful addition, as I’ve realized even plugging in a USB-C can be tricky for older hands. For $100, this phone delivers great value and functionality, making it a worthwhile investment for anyone looking to stay connected with an elderly loved one. Highly recommended. Two things to keep in mind. It doesn't have many ring tones although it gives you 4-5 different choices one of them being a loud old school phone ringer. If you want to answer by just opening the flip top, you have to enable that in the settings. There were a few things I had to make changes on to make this an idea phone for him.
