I got this trimmer to replace a Fiskars trimmer that I had for many years. This seems to be very much like the one I had. That is a good thing, because I really loved my old one. There seem to be only two differences between the old one and this. First, the color, the old one was black. The second, the cutter handle is on some sort of spring or vacuum so it pops up quickly when released from the safety catch. That was a surprise, but am getting used to it. I use this for craft projects, and have been very happy with it.

Another excellent Fiskars product. It cuts perfectly; however, I found for my needs that the plastic arm wasn't necessary, so I took it off. I can put it back on any time I feel the need for it.

Returned it chopped the paper with the new SAFTY blades on all paper cutter i tried six or seven or more and all do the same. These company's thing one found a sure thing and they all follow suite and they are wrong some people want something different than all the rest

So far this paper cutter works perfect and I love the lock that it comes with so that the arm can't be raised unintentionally and an accident happen if someone doesn't know what they're doing.

This paper trimmer is the best I've ever worked with!It's accurate, easy to setup and use, and can handle multiple pages with ease.

This cutter is doing a fabulous job of cutting my paper, with out the paper slipping out of place at the last minute. I also like the finger guard on it. (always worried about little kids getting into this stuff when I am not right in the room!!- I love the slider edge at the top, that helps you to make sure that the paper is on the exact place where it should be, instead of just sort of guessing!! love it. Great price, too!!

I bought this for card making and photo cutting - both of which require straight edges. It does NOT cut a straight edge. There is a definite curve/bow to the cut. It is relatively light weight, the handle makes it easy to carry. However since all the sides are rounded, it is difficult to store if you need the counter space. All sides were designed rounded in some way. Additionally, the handle is not as shown in the picture, it is a weird, shovel -type open handle, which again, sticks out past the cutting edge side and makes it unable to stand on that side.The various and many demarcations are useful for dimensional card/photo cutting, but cutting a really straight line is why you buy something like this.And of course the return shipping costs are nearly as much as the products most of the time so it is a waste keeping it or shipping it back.

Works okay for 3 sheets. Wish it could cut at leas 5 sheets at a time.
