It actually works, and very well.
It actually work! I was sus buying an off brand camera power accessory, but I wasn't disappointed. Ran it off an AC power supply, a 2.4 Amp computer usb-a, and a 2.4 Amp battery pack. The ability to transfer from one power source to another without interrupting power supply to the camera is great.I got a similar product from Tether Tools and it was terrible. It required a minimum of 2.5 amps and 30 watts to work, which isn't practice for anyone. This product is awesome, much cheaper, and actually works.

Works for all-night astrophotraphy sessions!
I use this to power my Nikon D5600 from an Anker battery during 4-8 hour astrophotography sessions.I have used this for a couple of months of backyard astronomy, including many sessions under 15 F, and plenty of sessions in the 20-50 F range. Even in nights with light frost or dew, this power adapter has worked reliably. It's so liberating to not have to plan battery swaps in the middle of an imaging session. A reasonably sized Anker battery will easily take you through several 4-8 hour imaging sessions.

Works on Nikon D5300.
General built does not feel high quality, but product works for Nikon 5300. Only used a few times, will use it for longer periods when taking lapse time photos.

Works well powering D5300
Powers my D5300 very well from a 20,000mah power pack attached to my Astrophotography rig. I use only one of the two usb plugs as my power pack supplies sufficient amperes from a single usb port. If you MUST use both ports from a battery pack or two battery packs, know that the adapter will draw a LOT of power, draining your power pack(s) much faster than a single usb plug settup. I found it is most efficient when the power pack USB port is able to supply sufficient continuous power using only one usb plug.

Check your product when it arrives
What i received today does not quite match the product pictures or the pictures that other people have posted. The USB replacement kit I received arrived with the correct power converter and the correct dummy battery shape, but the connector on the dummy battery's cable is the stock Nikon style and was not changed to the barrel plug used by the USB adapter.I also purchased the dummy battery for my other Nikon body (with the Nikon style connector), and was planning to modify that to work with this. instead, I think I might modify the USB adapter to have a Nikon style connector, unless the seller wishes to replace the part that is wrong. Then I can use either body with the USB adapter or a stock Nikon AC adapter.

Freaking awesome
I like to stay out all day and shoot/take video. I use this along with a massive 20,000mAh battery that is meant to charge smartphones. The cable is long enough to go from my backpack to my camera. It's a little weird having a cable running around ya but it's nice knowing my camera is not going to die.

The EP-5A dummy battery came with the wrong connector
EP-5A dummy battery came with a square 4-pin connector, but the connector from the 2 USB ports is a round cylinder. Fortunately the EP-5A dummy battery I have with a wall plug adapter from another manufacturer fits and works fine. I guess I only need one dummy battery for both power sources, so that's OK. It just means that the quality control at the packaging plant is not all that great.

Working with Nikon D5600 + Celestron Powertank Lithium Pro + Nexstar 8SE
The media could not be loaded. This adapter work excellent with a Celestron powertank lithium pro and Nikon D5600. Just you need to connect to an USB car adapter with Output DC5v 3A(or higher)At same time, this powertank is feeding my Celestron Nexstar 8SEJust one powertank to power 2 devices all night
