The wrence is a little longer that the fireangle one. But listen, these things are priceless, for plumbing especially and steel erection as a gripper behind the gun. If your working with variable size nuts and bolts on a construction site scaffolding etc it's great. But now mechanics would be dissapointed with the access of the spanner, not great in tight spaces.

Is there a special technique for unfastening please? it’s fine doing up but undoing, the head just springs backwards&has no grip.any advice grateful.

If it’s on tight, this piece of crap will not unfasten. Just slips rounds it, and strips it. Waste of time and money.

DOEs this for any nut

I am somewhat disappointed but not surprised coming from Asia.I thought it would be my answer to carrying bulky spanners but not the case. It isn’t be all and end all and a waste of money to be honest.

The problem is surely this will damage chrome fittings

As will any toothed gripping tool. I have an 1" wide 1/8 thick rubber strip that I place between the tool and the chrome. Unless it is seized up hard this will generally work without damaging the chrome.
