Amazon Fresh, Extra Long Asparagus, 15 Oz

The real deal had my doubts but on my 3 rd order it’s 2 took a few weeks the last one came in within a week. A few dented cans but who cares cans were not leaking.

this is excellent quality and no sticks or straw like stems to pick out - whole can was edible and delicious

These asparagus spears are very mushy and tasteless. Some of them had hard stems that were we could not chew. All of the cans were badly dented, as well. I guess this is why they are a good price. Overall, they are bad quality.

I’ve bought this asparagus 4 times. It takes *forever* to arrive. They may be growing it when ordered, or something, but wow, it took 2 months to get the first order. When it arrived, every can was dented. Like, major warfare-type dented. It won’t last long enough to worry about the dents, but it is a thought. (Every order after has been beat all to hell, too)The price is great, so when it arrived, I was curious to see how it compared with another brand. I opened a can of this and a can from Hannaford’s. There’s a lot of difference. This brand wasn’t as green, wasn’t as firm, not as long as the store brand. I made a casserole with it and once cooked, you couldn’t tell a difference.There are some strict limits on how many you can order. I suppose it’s because with the cost so low some people like to hoard. But I just put it on subscription so I get a few cans here and there. It’s a healthy vegetable, easy to cook and put in recipes. I don’t think you could go wrong by buying it, if you aren’t expecting to get it in time for a holiday meal, and you don’t mind it being in a vegetable war on the way.

Good quality at a reasonable price.

Pretty mushy. Ok if the price is right. definitely fine for a casserole or such where mushy doesn't matter or is preferred.

good taste

The asparagus in this can came all broken up. All different sizes in one can. the can was dented making it difficult to open. the taste wasn't bad but not great.
