The hate BTR gets online had me worried at first when I learned of the bad reputation prior to ordering. My battery is the 48v 20ah lifepo4. To my surprise, this battery is serving me very well. I can’t speak on their lipo batteries, but I would by their lifepo4 again. The listings now says 40 amp bms. When I bought mine it said the 48v 20ah had a 50 amp. I am running mine with a fardriver controller and I have only had it cut out try to run 90 amp and over. At 70-80 amps it runs like a champ. I don’t drive long periods at top speed mind you. I have to wait up for my kids frequently, so ymmw. Either way, the high amps is on take off anyway so I don’t see maintaining high speed as an issue because it won’t pull full amps. Battery life seems legit. My sons 16ah dies while mine has plenty left in the tanks and I am 295. So I’m all. Great battery.

Used the BTR 48v 20AH for an OVERVOLT kit. Customer service Thea was a great help when I had questions. Works well and was fully charged when I received it. Great size and comes with the charger and adapters xt60 to connect to your projects.

I needed a new battery pack to replace my old 10AH Lithum pack that kept blowing BMS outputs on my DIY Kick/EScooter and something to increase my range a little (to eliminate the Range Anxiety).I also wanted LifePO4 batteries to reduce the risk of lithium failure/fire.This was the perfect replacement that fit into the "Dollar Store" tool box I use as a battery holder.I only ride about 5 miles each way when I take my scooter and I used this 14AH pack for the last week and my trip does not even take 1/2 of the batteries capacity.

Much, much, much better than I was expecting. Been using it for a few weeks and I'm rather amazed at the range I'm getting on my ebike. It's far exceeded my expectations

I've run two of these for over two years now. They have each had in the neighborhood of 100 charge cycles. I usually use about 12 AHr per charge cycle. They are running perfectly. I use them on e-assist tricycles. The included charger, listed at 3 AHr, measures 2.5 AHr with an inline watt meter. One charger lost its fan and then died of overheating several months ago. Replacement chargers are cheap, or you can spend more and get a better one, like I did. I carry mine in a Topeak MTX cargo bag with matching MTX cargo rack with slide in track and a spring loaded latch. Battery removal is easy. I like these much better than the proprietary Li Ion batteries and proprietary mounting bases most trikes come with. I charge these batteries to 100% at 4 AHr rate. With LiIon, I only charged to 80%, and discharged to 50%, which only gave me 6 AHr of useful capacity for a comparable battery, half of what I get from these BTR batteries.
