Don't Buy This Air Purifier !!!
This purifier does a good job, problem is you can't get a complete set of replacement filters. They will only send you the HEPA filter and not the Active Carbon Filter...I have had this for 2 years and tried twice to get the complete set of filters. SAD....Waste of money...

Very nice unit.
We bought this unit for our main living area. We have an open dining room, living room, and kitchen. This unit is more than enough to care for that area. We only run it on medium speed and it's been working just fine. I like that it is a nice looking unit and easy to set up.

Good... With Caveats
The media could not be loaded. I have the smaller older stop circular desktop style air purifiers and I like those because they have a UV bulb in them as well, when I got this one I was kind of disappointed to find that it only has the added ionizer and they removed the UV bulb from this model which seems like a downgrade in my opinion, I would have preferred if it had both of the options, the big flaw for me is that the small air filters older stop cells has the ability to turn all the lights and display off and leave the fan speed setting where you want it, these make great white noise generators, both of them have a very pleasant sleeping sound, in my opinion the larger one in this review is much smoother and more refined of a sound and the smaller one is a little bit more of an aggressive sort of natural crackly sound if that makes sense. The larger one does not have the ability to just turn the lights on the display off, one of them being very bright indicating the quality of the air, if you push the sleep mode it turns all the lights off but it also kicks the fan down into the lowest setting so it doesn't make any noise at all that's worth having as a white noise generator, this is a very easy flawed overcome with a slight software tweak that would allow you to turn the lights off and still leave the fan in whatever mode you want it to be in because 99% of the time you don't need to see any of the information on the display. Another positive about this is that the noise that the buttons make when you do rarely click them is quite pleasant, the noise on the smaller order stop machines is quite aggravating, it's a very unrefined loud blown out beeping noise that every time I hear it I just question why they ever would have produced a machine that makes a noise like that when you press the buttons, luckily you don't have to push them very often. As far as the quality of the air filters and the air filtration, obviously I don't have any test equipment to verify these type of things but I've used older stuff as a company for multiple of their products for many many years both residentially and commercially and I put trust in the name.

Quiet and perfect for the bedroom
We have pets. Because of this, the dander, dust and combined with the pollen and other allergens in the air here in Austin makes sleeping at night sometimes unbearable. I require a very dark and quiet room to get a restful night's sleep. So, the answer was to get an air purifier that doesn't flood the room with LED light nor sound like a wind tunnel. How unpleasant is that? After careful review of the various products out there, we settled on this OdorStop purifier as it met various criteria:1) Quiet, 2) Night-time settings, 3) doesn't cost an arm and a leg, 4) provides Ionizer option, 5) has a large pool of verified users who reviewed the product and results skew vastly toward excellent or good. This product meets all of these criteria. First, (1) it automatic mode, it scales the fan speed to the quality of the air. When the air is scrubbed and the unit is operating at maintenance speed, you really can't hear it running. Only once, did it think the air quality was bad and was running at a high speed for no apparent reason. According to the instructions, simply turn it off and use a dry queue-tip and swab out the air quality detector. I did that and turned it back on and it went right back to normal. 2) When turning in for the night, simply select the night-time sleep mode. All the LEDs will turn off and the fan speed will reduce to the lowest setting. You simply cannot hear the unit running and it's dark. When you wake up in the morning, hit the sleep button again and it will return to its normal daytime settings, whatever you left it at. 3) Some units on the market were $500 and up. No freaking way. This one cost just a fraction and it's running great. 4) There are some write-ups out there that ionizers produce pollutants / ozone. These can affect some people who have sensitivities to ozone. The ozone production on this unit is small and is meant to ionize particles in the air to make them heavier and causing them to fall to the floor to be vacuumed or swept up later. This unit will turn off the ionizer during sleep mode when you're present in the room. During daytime settings, it returns to normal operation. 5) The final thing that convinced us to try this product was the many many users who proclaimed its quality and affirmed their satisfaction. We're glad to add our vote. This is a good product. I also spent an additional small amount for a Amazon Asurian support contract. Now, if for some reason we experience any product failures in the next 4 or so years, we know that we can return it for another one. At this point, this unit is running perfectly and works absolutely as expected.Update: 18 months and still operating 100%. Downside is the filters are EXPENSIVE! Be prepared to spend $50 each. Im seeing the unit queue us up for filter changes about once per quarter. I saw an answer from OdorStop that you might be able to extend the life of the filter by vacuuming them with a soft bristle brush attachment.

Great product availability of filters sketchy
It is a great product, I use it in my room where I keep my birds to control dander. The only issue I have is that the replacement filters are sometimes not available so I end up running the old filters for longer than the recommended time.
