Rodent Tape - Replacement for Honda Rodent Tape OEM 4019-2317 - for Car Wires. 3/4in x 65ft Roll

Our RV was finally hit: rats or mice chewed on about 10 strands of wire. Some damage was nasty with wires completely chewed through needing new wire and soldering.I bought a roll of Rodent Tape and I was skeptical: Three of us, me, my wife, and our mechanic, all placed a piece of tape, both the flat and adhesive side, on our respective tongues. We felt nothing. My local Mexican restaurant's salsa was spicier.So I contacted the company. Here's what I learned: The tape is designed in layers with mini-capsules of capsicum chili pepper extract inside the tape that bursts open when chewed on by rodents. There's no spice on the outside of the tape.Application is pretty easy: Tape every piece of wire in the engine compartment. The product did not work. Applied the tape on areas in the engine and squirrels chewed it up. Did not stop them or slow them down.

The tape wasn’t difficult to tear or place, just had a difficult time getting it to stick to the wheel well.
