BulovaWatch 98K112, Silver, Bracelet

This timepiece is absolutely beautiful, and a tremendous value proposition. While I primarily collect mechanical and automatic watches, I could not stay away from this piece. History is what first drew me to it, and once I saw this color way, I could not stay away. There are obvious similarities in design between the Bulova Lunar Pilot and the Omega Speedmaster. But that is no coincidence, as both time pieces were designed for the purpose of space travel and were following very specific requirements by NASA. With that said, the Bulova is its own watch and has its own design philosophy. I love the styling of the pushers, and the smooth sweep of the chronograph hand. The Quartz movement powering this watch is also very impressive and is accurate within 10 seconds per year. Something that a mechanical watch could never achieve.The only negative I would point out with this watch is the size. With an over 50mm lug to lug distance, my 6 1/2 inch wrist is at the very limit of wearability for this piece. While I would still comfortably wear it, if your wrists are any smaller, this might be just a spec too large for you. I do wish Bulova would have made this closer to a 40 or 42mm case.

Well, it came from UK. I ordered the 98K112, da Blue Panda. It looks so good in da picture. It did look good. But, the spare leather wrist band ..... well, I don't know who to blame, But I just got 1/2 of a wrist band. The end with the buckel. The other end with the holes to size it, did not come.Then when I registered it, another shock, on the back of da watch for the model #, it said 98A305. I thought I ordered a 98K112. Bulova has yet to answer my questions. As you can assume, I'm alittle upset. What did I get ?????

Bought this watch on 08/24/23.if you love history and want a small bit of a historical event this is a great time pice to have in your collection. Love the color play of snoopy and the texure watch face as if it was the surface of the moon.

Actually picked this up at a local Kay’s for $600 out the door. Love this watch. The dial is fun to look at. The 43mm size is perfect for my 7.5 inch wrist. I was originally gunning for the 45mm stainless but I’m glad I took this route instead.The bracelet is nice but the lack of micro adjustments is keeping me from a truly perfect fit. Otherwise I have zero complaints. Highly recommend it!
