Love this iron! Gets hair straight on 410Just have to be careful not to burn yourself because it heats 360 all the way around and you can straight your hair and curl at the same time.Worth it!

This hair straightener is hands down the best! It leaves my hair perfectly straight with minimal effort, and the size is super convenient

Overall I liked this "BaBylissPRO 1" Ultra-Sleek Stainless Steel Styling Iron" as it performing just the way a high end iron should. I appreciate that the plates and barrels are very smooth, and as a result hair won't snag or catch. The entire piece feels well made and solid in the hand, but not so heavy as to be tiring to use for an entire head of hair. However, it's not a 5-star item for me because I found I had to hold the plates together with both hands to get the flat ironing I wanted - this didn't work for one-hand operation, and I have quite fine hair that's only slightly wavy. Also, although there are rounded plates on the outside of the barrel, I couldn't use the inside plates like a clamp, you just have to wrap the hair with your hand, which I don't like doing (though there is a tiny 3-finger heat protectant glove included in the package). When I tried to clamp and wrap, the iron would either hold or release my hair, but not slide. So my impression is that this is a nice, solid, versatile iron if this is a style you are already familiar with, but it's not my first choice for styling either straight or waves.
