Used 6 of these (3 packs) to hang an Egyptian rug on a wall. Perhaps 6 is overkill but difficult to know how many you need, I suspect 2 would take the weight of the rug but then the top edge might sag in the middle.Good points.Machined aluminium body and boss. Clamping grub screw is nylon tipped. Design is different to the photos as the mounting boss screws to the wall and the main body slots over and is held in place with another grub screw. This is far superior to the method shown in the photo where the boss screws into the main body - rotational alignment would be difficult in this case.Comes with all fixings and an Allen key for the grub screws. Grub screws are pretty flush fitting an unobtrusive.Easy to use and looks good.Not so good points.The photos implied that there was a spacer supplied to give the clamp a soft grip - this is not the case. I had to make little aluminium plates to better spread the load from the grub screw when clamping onto the cloth edge of the rug. Also, if what you’re clamping is very thin you need to add some packing material else the grub screw will be right on the end of its threads (I.e. not very secure) when clamped up. Doesn’t come with instructions but then it’s not rocket science to figure out how it works.

For the purposes of hanging a smaller rug, this product is very good. Easy to install on the wall, but you will probably need help to hand the carpet.

Only one kit received but on the description it is two carpets mentioned, you need two hooks for it to hold one carpet, we needed two kits which we understood will be in the Jiffy bag that was sent . and that is not full , no instructions and the Perspex are cut pieces that are not cut the same size and totally different shape to the picture.Only one screw sent with the one raw plug.The delivery charge very high for such kitDisappointed

The hanging kit has allowed me to hang the mat that we bought in Morrocco on the wall can it be seen by all. Works fine.

Been looking for a product for literally years that would not damage the rug we wanted to hang on display. Would have given higher rating but charge for postage and packaging seems excessive.

Just don’t lose the bits of plastic that protect the carpet

this only works for super thick carpets. if you want to hang slimmer ones the screws are too weak and short to carry the weight. this should have been mentioned in the product description and I waster money! luckily not that expensive, but still annoying as hell.
