Blackburn Outpost Corner Bike Bag (Black, One Size)

This fit my gravel bike frame very well. Slim profile and easy to get in and out of even while riding.

I was looking for a tool bag that would work with the Yeti frame. I was not sure if this was going to work but it really fits well in that space.The bag holds all my essential tools for my rides. I was able to place one spare 27.5" tube, derailleur hanger, multi-tool, zip-ties, tape, tire levers, patch kit, master link and there is still some room for CO2 cartridge(s).Overall I am happy with it. I can't speak of durability of the bag or the zipper yet, but it looks and feels sturdy enough.

The package took a while for Amazon orders since I’m so used to getting my orders in less than 3 days. I think this order took 1.5 weeks from the time I submitted my order.About the product itself, I really like it! Although it is not a perfect fit on my 2013 Santa Cruz Blur TRC size Medium, it still fits! I’m able to free up my back jersey or swat vest! This bag fits my tire pump, 2oz stans, tire lever, a snack bar, crankbrothers 19-multi tool, small items like medicine, quick link, hrm sensor and a wind vest!I only gave it 4 stars because the strap is bulky and in between sizes. Short is too short and long is too long so instead, I used zip ties. Much cleaner look but if you care about your paint job, use frame film protector. I didn’t use that because I don’t really care much for scratches.

The bag is nice but the straps are trash. Only 3 stars because Blackburn should know better & do better.This bag did not fit my medium/17" full suspension bike. This bag did not fit my medium/17" hardtail (interfered with the water bottle cage). It does fit my medium large/18" hardtail with a water bottle cage.

I have 2 of these on different Ibis mountain bikes. I hate carrying a pack on rides but still want my repair items. Don't want to run an under seat bag with a dropper post and this works perfectly and is unobtrustive.

Why make a seemingly good product and put velcro straps on it that only fit certain bike tubes? Why not put cinch straps and then be able to satisfy all your customers? I'd love to know. Seriously. What meeting did they have in the Product Design Department where someone said "I know! Let's restrict our bag to only bikes with certain diameter tubes!" Then everyone else said "Brilliant idea!". And the first guy said "Not only use Velcro, but we'll make absolutely sure that the customer won't be able to modify the straps in any way!". Then they made him company CEO. Way to go, guys.

This bad is super-useful, especially if you run a dropper and can't/don't want to use a seat bag. Just big enough to fit the usual tube, CO2 and tools. Best feature is the series of loops on top and bottom so you can pick which one to put the velcro mounting straps through. This enables me to make this fit and look decent on any of my bikes. This is also a "problem solver" for mounting a bag on a full-suspension mountain bike. I like that it put the weight inside the frame and helps me avoid an ugly seat bag. Nice job Blackburn! Now just make more of these in different shapes, maybe with some a few sizes larger, so we can mount it tight to the frame, avoid any air gaps and make it look more custom.

Blackburn bags have been working for me. I have a Blackburn on all my whips. Like: the bags FELLED the frame perfecta. Had to make velco attachment required some fabrication, but worked with my pump exterior mount. Dislike: the are not fully waterproof on an epic weather event. Even heavy when flooded. But repellent fabric and tight zips keep out good splashing, muddy goo, and moderate rain/snow/slush.Yes I'd recommend Blackburn Elite
