This worked out well for me. Pre-made pie fillings are just always too sweet for me and that annoys me because I crave cherry cobbler. husband diabetic and i watch y sugar intake - thought I would try - did make a pie - the artificial sweetening a little too sweet tasting for me but you can't have everything - miss those sour cherry trees my parents had....would be good for cheese cake topping I think

Warning: It is Mostly Fluid With Sparse Fragments of Cherries, Not Fruit Filling
A watery fluid with a few broken pieces of cherries in each can is so pathetic it is funny. On the cans the labels boast, Now With 10% More Cherries. Even with 200% more cherries our two cans would still be mostly flavored water. The fluid and few pieces of broken cherries do not have a bad flavor, just not a cherry flavor or for that matter any flavor. What is advertised on Amazon for this product and that is illustrated on the label are completely misleading. The photo shows beautiful plump cherries, not the pieces of what appears to be rejected stock. The contents are useless, not nearly enough fruit for a pie filling. It is a liquid, at least in our two cans.Not recommended for anything. Don’t waste your money.

The taste was great but way too many pits were found! And they were large and hard! So although they were tasty will not be buying again
