Q: can this be used with a hose end sprayer?

Yes-it dilutes with water very readily-follow instructions-I used to be in this business and this is one of the best fertilizers on the market.

Q: Is this slow release pallets?

No, you mix it in water and it dissolves immediately then spray it on your plants. Works great BTW!

Q: Will this work well for a ficus (rubber tree)?

I use this on a number of my ficus trees, including elastica, Benjamina, and lyrata. I alternate between regular watrings and fertilized waterings, and then stop during the winter.

Q: can this be used in hydro dwc?

No this should not be used for hydroponics. It is formulated with urea, which is not the best nitrogen source for hydro. Urea is not readily available to the roots in hydro and also it may give you pH problems because it will acidify your medium.
