Well I recieved this ram 20 mins ago, shipped fast, easy install works perfect.Gateway SX2851 shipped with 4gb ram upgraded to windows 10 and its been slow ever since.lew life for an old pc

I needed some more RAM on an old PC to keep it running fast and have enough memory for all the apps I run fork work and 'play'. I do not play games but run photography apps and several browsers at a time along with outlook, itunes, sometimes video apps, etc.While not as speedy as a new computer it allows me to do what I need to without having to invest in a new computer which will eventually need to happen.

Works as described.

Moved the user folder off the internal drive now I don’t have to worry about space.Playing with a 400gb photo library is so much nicer than before

I had bought two sticks of ram that matched my computer's specifications from Crucial, but neither worked. Search the factory installed ram's part number and found the perfect match.Update 12/27/16: Bought another and no issues. Plan to keep buying more for all my towers so long as they work.Update 1/3/17: 3rd stick worked.Update 1/13/17: Bought three more. All worked.

DO NOT BUY! Ordered 4 Samsung DDR3 2GB RAM modules from this seller. All 4 modules were defective and not working. Ordered the exact same thing from another seller and had zero issues. Seller did try to resolve this issue by requesting that I return the items for a refund but I’m just going to take the L on this one. Shouldn’t have to go through all this for such a simple product.

Worked as expected, without any abnormal install issues. Used in an old HP desktop, adding 2 gb to the 6 gb already in computer. Didn't see much of a difference in performance to date.
