Used As Jeep Undercarriage Lights
These were recommended by a friend. We were looking for bright white durable rock / undercarriage lights that we could use in place of the other lights that change mutli colors. We have had these lights on for over 2 years and they have not once failed. We took our time installing to make sure they were secure, and wires were well protected. We have been on pavement, dirt, rocks, mud, water, and a mixture of terrain and none have gone bad. We do maintain the undercarriage after wheeling trips, and they stand up quite well to power washing. The bright white is practical for seeing when we wheel at night. In this picture, there are 1 per wheel well, 1 beneath each door and 2 in the grill (10 total)...and yes its that bright.

Works great for the money- and if installed right!
If you are good with automotive electrical work this kit will work well. It does not come with a wiring diagram but I was able to look at the wiring harness and figure it out on my own being I’m a former mechanic.Main harness with switch:Larger white wire: Ground to Body/Chassis.Red wire with fuse holder: Positive (to power source).Small red wire at splitter: Positive (connects to white wire that has a red stripe on the light harness).Small black wire at splitter: Ground (connects to solid white wire on the light harness).I had to extend the wiring from the switch harness to reach the light harness mounted on the opposite side of the bed from where I installed the switch. I used 10’ of encased 16-gauge 2-conductor wire for that.In my application I wanted to be able to turn the lights on whenever needed so I ran a power feed directly from the battery feed at the fuse box under the hood with a 5-amp inline fuse at that connection point. I also soldered and heat shrinked the connections in order to avoid potential corrosion issues. The mounting surfaces for the light modules need to be cleaned with rubbing alcohol and allowed to dry prior to application using the included adhesive. Then each light module should be pressed into place and held firmly for 10 seconds so the adhesive can bond as you work your way down. Be sure it’s at least +50 degrees fahrenheit when you do this. This kit does a great job of lighting up the inside of the 6.5’ bed under the tonneau cover on my 2002 GMC Sierra.

Decent overall 2019 Silverado HD
Just installed, so will update for adhesion and waterproof qualities, but install was fairly simple. 2019 Silverado HD, 6.5' bed. Lights were mounted underneath a truxedo roll-up tonneau cover that way the lights are covered from water and loading when the cover is rolled up. Added Velcro to secure switch in accessible location. Ran wires down inside of bed holes to leave a cleaner install. Tapped into trailer wiring for constant 12V power that way the switch is all that activates, eliminating the need to turn on cargo lights. If you're installing in a similar fashion, electrical tape, butt splices, wire t-tap, ring terminal, self-tapping ground screw, zip ties, additional 16-18 gage wire, liquid electrical tape, rubbing alcohol, and paper towels are required. Good tools for the install are wire strippers and crimpers, side cutters, impact driver, and a lighter or torch for butt splices (if waterproof seal type). Best off to drop the spare tire if tapping into trailer wiring. Also, the rearmost stake pockets are no longer usable if you route wiring through them. The quality of the LED lights and wiring seems pretty good. Fuse holder provided is not waterproof style so that may be worth replacing. Will update as issues arise, or don't.

Easy install and can be powered by a 9 volt battery
These are a great addition to my truck bed. I run them off a 9 volt battery in a waterproof case.

Adhesion 3m tape is not thick enough to stick and lead wire's not long enough to meet evenly.
What I did like is the brightness of the lights once they were properly wired, and the push button on-off switch included. This comes with no instructions, so figuring it out is truly a trial and error install. The 3m two sided tape is just too thin, and just not thick enough to push hard to surface and get a proper adhesion stick. Lead wires to feed to both strands of the lights (or to run to truck battery) are not long enough to meet each other for practical even application, and so purchasing extra wire I am sorry to say is a must. But after completing the install with the few obstacles listed, I have to say they look sharp, brightly illuminate my pickup bed, and the challenges faced are more/less forgotten. Then came the next day, and the lights flash then stop working. Not sure what is the issue. But give them a few minutes and they will work again. Then if truck is started they flash again, then stop again. Not sure the issue, just working intermittently.

Much better than the mopar option.
These lights put off an insane amount of light and work great with the 12V system on my 2019 RAM. I wound up needing about 4 feet of extra wire due to splicing into my trailer harness for power. I would recommend purchasing a few feet of extra 18 gauge wire as well as electrical connectors if you plan on tapping into trailer receiver power like I did. I also purchased 10 feet of cable loom and zip-ties to protect the wires from any sharp edges under the bed. The tape on the back of the LED’s is super sticky and there’s more than enough length to reach the end of my 5’7” bed on both ends.
