Q: The instructions say to apply every other day when starting to use this treatment. Are you supposed to remove the polish with remover first every time

I put it on top of the existing coat. I remove it once a week and start over.

Q: I don't see the ingredients listed. Is this free of toxic chemicals?

Ingredient list from company website: Ingredients: Isopropyl Alcohol, Butyl Acetate, MEK, Nitrocellulose, Cellulose Acetate Propionate, Camphor, Acrylates Copolymer, Phthalic Anhydride/Trimellitic Anhydride/Glycols Copolymer, Denatonium Benzoate, Benzophenone-1, CI 26100 (Red 17).

Q: how often should it be applied? how many coats at one time?

I used it as a base coat and applied just one coat. If my nails seem flaky at the top I will put a second coat on. How often? For me it is just once a week when I do my nails.
