Q: Will this fit sch 20 thin wall?

It is designed to fit 4" & 6" SCH 40 & SDR 35 Pipe. We would recommend contacting the manufacturer (Polylok, Inc.) on using this product on other pipe types not mentioned in their specs.

Q: I need to clean the filter every 6 weeks, otherwise the tanks over fills. The good news the filter works keeping drain filed clean. Is this normal?

Every 6 weeks is not normal. The good news is that it is doing it's job. Sounds like you may need a larger filter like a Polylok PL-525 but you need to know the gallons per day you are using to properly size your filter.

No adapter needed, it will itt 4" SCH 40 pipe.
