Q: I have a Bernina 440Q will it work?

It will work with any machine if you have enough throat space. My machine is 7 inches from needle to neck. I wouldn't go any smaller than that.

Q: what is minium requirement of area in inches for throat for it to work with?

It would work with 3-5” throat, but you would be doing a lot of adjusting of the fabric on the rollers. The larger the throat, the more area you could quilt between adjustments. Here’s a video of him operating it. https://youtu.be/WQ_Dqdd5t_I

Q: How big of a table and work space do i need for this?

The length of the frame, as it comes is 48" but it sits on two cylinder to move. I used a dining table.

It is approximately 48" long and 15 " wide
