Q: plz confirm no salt is used in the process of making this product? 1 customer says salt is in ingredients listed on back of package, thank you!

The only place on the package that salt is mentioned is on the front of the package. If you enlarge the pictured product, you will see that just under the picture, you see "Ground Sumac". Just under that, you see 5 circles that say " non-irradiated", "Salt Free" and so on. Just below that is the ingredients list. Salt is not one of the ingredients. There nothing on the back of the package except a white sticker with a "Best By" date. I have no idea why anyone would say that salt is listed as an ingredient...because salt is not an ingredient.

I believe it is from the USA. Sumac is quite common around the USA.

There is no salt or oil in the sumac.

Q: Does your farm or the farm you source from spray pesticides and herbicides?

No the source of my herbs and spices (Spice way) does not use pesticides nor herbicides according to the packaging.
