Good product it does what is supposed to do.

EASY TO USE AND BRILLIANT IN FUNCTIONS

I have loved the product, purchased it 3 times but, each one has broken down.3 year Warranty is a joke as you have to send the scanner to Netherlands and you have to pay for the postage both ways at your cost. With a warning that if the scanner board was damaged by misuse or when changing the UV bulb for example, you will be billed from £50 to £90 pounds. All 3 scanners broke down within 3 to 12 months of purchase. I have binned them.Disappointedly I have finally bought a much cheaper one with fewer functions.

Good for what is needed!

The Safescan 70 Note Checker is a handy and very neat source of checking your cash, especially if you have a small business. The good thing about this scanner it is already able to check the new Polymer currency or banknotes. It includes a powerful UV lamp which is supposedly able to last 3 times longer than normal lamps. I am unable to clarify this, but I will update my review as time goes on.The LED white light will detect watermarks or microprint. Which will confirm your money is real and not the nasty forgeries which are doing the rounds of businesses.I know a lot of people do prefer card transactions but there are still a lot of customers who prefer good hard cash and I am one of them. The bonus of this machines is the fact it will verify credit cards, passports, and other IDS.For those who run a business, this is an excellent source of being able to check your money before accepting it. This is especially important for small businesses, as banks do not allow for mistakes.I do like the automatic standby function as this will prolong the life of the bulb as well as preventing the scanner from overheating.I would happily recommend this scanner to anyone who has a small business as it is the perfect size which will not take up a lot of room. It will give you confidence in receiving payments and quicker than the pen or another source of checking out money.Happy to recommend.

The first one worked for 5 days and the UV stopped working we returned it to Amazon with ease and received a replacement within a few days... This one worked for 3 days.... Very disappointing.
