Thrilled with this pan. I’m not planning another transmission fluid party anytime soon, but just knowing I can drain it cleanly through the plug (instead of pulling the pan and re-enacting a low-budget oil disaster movie) is pure peace of mind. It’s also perfect for those “oops, I overfilled it” moments — because nothing says “bad day” like foamy transmission fluid. I swapped the old magnet onto the new pan, though a magnetized drain plug would’ve been a cherry on top. Overall, this pan’s a win — and my garage floor agrees.

Beautiful fit and no leaks. The drain plug will come in handy later down the road because I made a huge mess taking my old pan off. Very nice quality paint job, no rust has shown up in 6 months.

This item is an exact copy of the original pan with the added benefit of the drain plug. The dimensions and hole spacing are perfect. It attached easily and sealed perfectly.

If you have to replace your transmission pan, you definitely want to replace it with one that has a drain plug! The factories don't want you to do your own work anymore. That's why they make things as inaccessible as possible. This one little detail can make your life so much easier. Installing a pan with a drain plug affords you the ability to swap your fluid out at any point just as easily as you change your oil, and in much tidier fashion. This pan is very high quality and a perfect fit. The only issue I had with it was that I had to lay the gasket out in the 90° sun because they just ball it up in a bag. It wasn't creased, but it didn't want to lay flat either. You can either lay it out flat under some books, place it in the sun for awhile, or just use gasket maker in lieu of the provided gasket. This is a great purchase, though!

On Jeep JKU's they always put the drain hole where the fluid will go all over everything, this pan put the drain plug out front away from draining on anything but into a drain pan. If you have a jeep wrangler swap to this pan
