This little tool is very handy for a lot of food prep in the kitchen! I seem to use it almost daily (avocados, tomatoes, jalapeños and even prepping pineapples). Very happy with purchase, quality and use :)

Because of it's unique shape, it can handle coring just about any fruit or vegetable.Many people don't know this, but some (or all?) apple seeds contain Cyanide. I don't believe it's an overwhelming amount, but that is a consideration. For people who toss apples in their smoothie maker, this is an issue. Although I've not heard of people getting sick from this, I don't want pulverized apple seeds in my smoothies.For whatever reason you want to remove seeds or other parts of fruits or veggies, this tool does work very well.

Great, simple gadget for removing seeds from fruit and vegetables. I have family members who can not eat any food with seeds. This gadget makes food prep fast and easy. I will buy another one, too. Highly recommend. It’s solidly built, sharp. A little pricey, so I’m hoping it will go on sale soon. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

I de seed many of my veggies. I have tried peelers, spoons and other cutting devices. this is so superior to all of those. I only wish I knew about it earlier. And I wish I had ordered a second one, should this ever go missing . I love this work saver. Very nicely made.

Does the job well. We use it for coring fresh raw pears to prepare them for use in pastries at our bakery. Because pears are relatively fragile and, well, pear-shaped, most of the normal coring and peeling devices can't be used. And coring them with a knife or a spoon can be messy if they are very ripe. I remembered this little gadget from my days as a kitchen helper 45 years ago and was happy to find that they are still around. And in Stainless Steel!!

I juice a lot of pears and apples. I cut them in quarters and use my corer to effortlessly and efficiently core them out. I find it very handy and easy to use.

This is one of those unique hard to find items. I've had one of these for years and another person was interested in getting one. Went to all the specialty shops looking for this pear corer and found it on line. After cutting the fruit in half, the larger loop cuts out the seeds and the thinner loop cores out the stem. Easy to have good looking fruit. This tool is very easy to clean. Enjoy and have fun.

I make a lot of lightly cucumber pickles and part of the recipe involves coring the cucumbers. Generally I just use a spoon to smash the seeds out which is a messy affair, but using this corer I can just slice them out with zero effort and zero mess - the core comes out intact and is much easier to put aside for later use/disposal. Clean-up is a breeze as well, just a quick rinse and a dab of dish soap and lay it out to dry before it's ready again.
