Not really what I was expecting
Advertised as texecom cable, it isn't. Does not meet bs4737 standard as is required for texecom alarm installations (per texecom manual). Cable or drum being clearly marked is the first and main criteria which it is let down by. Cable resistance is higher than that required by the bs4737 standard (100 ohms per km, or 155ohms per km for type 3 being the standard). Its worked ok for my install. Id probably still pay a few quid extra for the genuine stuff next time. The time and effort to install far outweighs any small savings on inferior cable

The bad type for modern alarms
Cheap for a reason in that it is the type that corrodes too easily and can throw modern alarms into chaos when the terminals corrode and the resistance changes.Get the proper tinned copper stuff instead.
