Good one!
Personally, I loved this one.... so did my 7 month old pit bull. Sadly, she tore it apart in 2 weeks BUT, on the bright side, that is almost twice as long as any other toy has lasted so far. Even after biting away one of the knots the toy was still useful and she loved it with all the threads flying like a mop... she still played with it tossing it around and bringing it to me to play tug-of-war until all the threads were gone (literally eaten by her, yes, she ate them)However, not the toy's fault. I think a smaller and/or less destructive dog would enjoy this for longer and, as I said, she did love the toy!NOTE: If you want an indestructible toy, I suggest Chuck-it medium balls, http://www.amazon.com/ChuckIt-Medium-Ultra-2-5-Inch-2-Pack/dp/B000F4AVPA/ref=pd_bxgy_petsupplies_img_y ... it has been 2 months and my dog has not been able to destroy these yet nor is there a sign that she will ever be able to.

Dog liked it - Lasted one week
Our dog really liked this toy and loved playing with it. It is rather small, perfect for our 12-pound dog. If you have a larger dog, it might be better to get a larger version. Our dog started ripping the rope apart more or less straight away. It took her around half a week to really make a mess all over the living room. She also had some of the rope stuck between her teeth, which I had to remove. Our dog did not enjoy that part as much as the "ripping the toy apart"-part.After a week I was tired of cleaning up after my dog and threw the toy into the trash. I bought one from a Pet Store instead and that one has lasted way better. I would not buy this one again.

Good Rope Bone
This is a good rope toy for the money. It is well made, and I like that it is natural cotton with vegetable dyes.It has held up pretty well compared to my Doodles other toys that get shredded in no time. It is not his favorite toy, but one he occasionally "toys with" and tries to pick apart at his whim.

Fun
I bought one of thess years ago for my Mom's Jack Russell. He is so darn cute. We are big Auburn fans and Sully for his name stuck after the Auburn fan neighbor next door decided he should be named after Pat Sullivan. So I bought an orange and blue rope which was all the store had (darn). Anyway, this is the only toy that is even close to still resembling its original form. He destroys most new toys within an hour. There is only the outside "fur and skin" left behind. No insides, no squeaker, no eyes or nose, just a shell. Even tennis balls eventually "die" and when he gets a new tennis ball we get to enjoy the whole performance again! Most critters and balls Mom finds buried in the vegetable garden the next season. And if Mom doesn't conceal her find quickly enough to get it into the trash which is not easy because he knows where he put things, he goes through a crazed "you have my treasure" temper tantrum. So when I saw that Amazon was offering these types at of items during the checkout. Process since it would be more economical than to sell these items on their own I got the toy for what I think is a great deal evev though I was not shopping foir pet cc supplies and most people don't think about them. So Sully loves it. If. It is new, a different color or just clean, he gets so excited to the point that he wiggles so hard he whacks himself in the head with his tail and tinkles a little on the floor and with it in his mouth he shakes his head so hard it has to hurt while making a strange growling sound while he shakes it and spends the next hour I bought one of thess years ago for my Mom's Jack Russell. My Cori Loves It!!
OK I have Cogi who shreds all his toys. Anything that lasts more than a week is a GREAT Dog toy. This one has lasted several months. The toys is twice as big as his head, and he brigs it over to play tug of war everyday. It starting to show some signs of ware, but it is not he product. It's my dog who is shredding it. He loves it, and I love it when he bonks me in the leg with the toy in his mouth asking for me to play with him. I will by this again and again.
