National Geographic Little Kids First Big Book of Dinosaurs

This book has been the starting point of my kid's engagement with palaeontology, the illustrations in this book and the conversational tone of the content makes for great reading. Initially I read the book to him and asked him the questions in the book, he found the questions interesting and wanted to answer them. The information provided about dinosaurs is interesting enough for him to start looking up more places to read about dinosaurs, we have consulted many books on dinosaurs since. He was introduced to many non-trivial pieces of vocabulary in the right context. That meant, he picked up new concepts along the way. I will recommend this book highly for any parent wanting to introduce their kid to the natural sciences.

I bought it for my 6 years old kid - recently he became super crazy about dinosaurs after watching Dinosaurs Train - a web series on prime. After seeing his enthusiasm I thought of buying this.This book is so amazing!! He enjoys the book a lot, not only him even my wife and myself enjoy reading it for him.It has been designed so nicely - it fits best for kids right from 4 years. Illustration is so fascinating and content is well organized with crisp description, for that age group definitely it is very informative.Little downside : the case binding could be more durable, for that expense pages getting out of case's spine makes disappointing.

This book is really great to introduce dinos and keep the interest of children alive as it is full of pictures and interesting facts and knowledge. I was a bit apprehensive about the quality of the book as I read so many negative reviews here but the book which I received is perfectly in good shape. The little "Say my name" pronunciation guide really help in sounding out the difficult dinosaur names easily by children of any age.

The book is very good.. Children can read it themselves.. But the pages will come out.. Had to fix it always.. But awesome book

One the best books for dinosaur loving kids. Book is filled with information of more than 50 dinosaurs. One of the interesting feature is it has page how to use the book. Filled with interesting facts, many are new to me. How to pronounce the name. Also has a world map of dinosaur.Best suited for kids between 4-8 years age.
